| Rated 5 out of 5: We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the wyndham grand in London. What a place! We too had read the comments on here and where a little worried to say the least, especially as we had a great rate but had pre-paid meaning no cancellation! ? However I am so please we didn't even attempt to cancel. We arrived at about 1pm expecting to wait but was told we could go straight to our room as it was ready which was lovely, the girl that checked us was really nice and explained all about the hotel and where everything was. My husband had been ready for the wait, and had his mind set on a quick drink or 2 before going to the room so the girl took us to the bar. I?d mention when we checked in that we were there for my birthday (i won't say which one) and the girl had wished me a happy birthday. Before we could order a drink a gentleman came over to our table, confirmed our names and introduced himself as the guest relations manager (Lee) and wished me a happy birthday and offered us a glass of champagne to start our celebrations! In many years of different treats I?ve never felt live such a VIP ? I see why the rich and famous only use 5 star! The bedroom (a suite!!) was beautiful, so clean and well appointed ? my husband pointed out there where chocolates on the side and the plate read ?Happy Birthday? in chocolate, again something i really didn't expect ? wonderful! All the staff we came across were amazing! Polite and so professional the breakfast was beautiful and i can confirm the fruit was cut and arranged beautifully. we just need to win the lottery and we?re moving in! Rated 4.7 out of 5: Liked: great room and nice hotel generally Disliked: Room a bit pricy. Access from car park to hotel and back not clearly defined. Overall: good all round. Rated 5 out of 5: All in all we had a lovely stay, the only disappointment was the pool was still not open. Staff were really helpful and friendly. We did ask about using the shuttle bus on the sat and were told it didn't run at the weekend, we asked again on the Monday and were told it only ran at the weekend, hmm.... |

| Rating out of 10: 10 Date stayed: January 2007 review: Woow ! I love this hotel ! It used to be like my home in london ! I used to visit there about 6 times a year ! woow the view is great, the area is perfect, the harbour is fantastic, the suites are huge, the staff are friendly ! But unfortunatley its no longer the Conrad so we dont stay there anymore but i still love it and when they closed down the conrad i was so upset as upset as a person could be as leaving their house ! You should definitley staay there ! NAME CHANGE 2007 FROM THE CONRAD HOTEL |

Rating out of 10: 10 Date stayed: October 2004 review: Stayed the night of our wedding and before the hotel staff were even aware of this, we were upgraded to the penthouse suite. Fabulous room overlooking the thames. They also gave us a two course dinner free. All the staff were fantastic and the room clean, very quiet and comfortable. Rating out of 10: 10 Date stayed: June 2004 review: we stayed here on the night of our weddinng anniversary and were upgraded to the most beautiful penthouse suite where we were met by champaign! The hotel,staff,atmosphere along with the view add up to "Fantastic", have visited many times since & look forward to the next time Rating out of 10: 10 Date stayed: May 2004 review: Have never stayed in this hotel before and thought that it was a really lovely hotel. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Breakfast was included in our price and was very nice. The hotel staff were very helpful. Would definatley stay there again. |
