Liked: Friendly helpful staff. Bar area and restaurant were nice. Food good. Nice big towels.
Disliked: The bed was very uncomfortable and the room quite hot - there was an A/c unit, but that was a bit noisy.

Liked: The bed, the room decor, the shower and the location.
Disliked: Breakfast was inexplicably expensive and the restaurant seemed the same. Didn't even bother with that. We had stayed here before do we expected our superior double room to be like the last one we had stayed at only to be told that the rooms vary in size so the room we got in the end was much smaller than expected. In the end we decided to stay anyway. We enjoyed it though.

Disliked: The price of parking and as my wife is a single woman and travelling alone having to park in an isolated multi-storey away from the hotel, she did not feel safe.

Liked: A Good hotel with friendly staff, good facility's, good bar/restaurant and fast Wi-Fi throughout
Disliked: Car parking for £15 a day is very poor with only a very small car park onsite always full they have another car park down the road which our van wouldn't fit in also it was down a dodgy backstreet so I don't think we would of left it in that car park anyway, I was not told the car park was £15 per day until I checked out I thought it was free as they just gave me a permit when we checked in

Liked: Location was good with limited parking. My room was a suite (apparently) so exceeded my expectation. Bar staff friendly in contrast to reception staff.
Disliked: Reception staff need a lessons in smiling and being welcoming. My 'suite' had no light bulbs in the bedside lights and the sink plug didn't work. £15 car parking is way too much. I have stayed at the Ibis in Hounslow and the bill parking at £3

Staff knowledgeless, incorrect info given, couldn't swing a hamster! We were told incorrect pool opening times so when we went to go for a swim the pool had closed, so we couldn't use the facilities as hoped. The staff gave us incorrect local opening times, showing lack of local knowledge. The receptionist was impossible to understand and I can't really blame him but I would have thought a receptionist would have been expected to have a solid command of the English language. The room, for a twin, was tiny and the shower had one heat setting. Scalding hot!

Liked: The hotel was very close to Hounslow stop (very helpful as pouring with rain at the time! ), the front desk staff were pleasant and informative. Room setting was good, plenty of space for us. Food was also to a good standard.
Disliked: When going to our room for the first time there was a plate in the corridor with food left on it. It was not the best first impression but when we walked through the corridor shortly after it was gone.

Liked: Loved the location, the room and the facilities. Had a good stay but it could have bedn better.
Disliked: Once I got in the hotel I went for a shower, I was amazed to find out that there was no hot water! I don't understand how any hotel charging people to stay has no hot water. I was very disappointed and when I contacted reception they said they will find someone to look it up and will call us. After a hour my partner had to contact them for them to say it should work by 10/11pm. This did not take place and me and my partner had to shower in cold water in order for us to go out and enjoy our anniversary. We were promised breakfast which we later did not get in the morning. Due to showering in cold water me and my partner have a bad cold and also there was no heating in the morning. I tried to contact the hotel this morning to talk to the manager and ask for my deposit as son as possible! Not happy at all.

Liked: Great staff, clean and great base for London visit
Disliked: Fixtures and fittings showing their age. Blown bulbs carpet ruts. Some light fittings lose and hanging and bathroom extractor not working. Limited car parking at £15 per twenty four hours. Small lift which with cases or pram is only option.

Disliked: When I have arrived here, it was said give us 150 pound and we will return to you when you will do check out. But this was not and pointed when I booked. Secondly, There was not telephone set. I informed them and they changed my room again. Now, in this room there was not refrigerator or fridge. I asked they said this was not fridge, this was only bar :). Dear, I can compare two of these things. There was not iron so, it was pointed in the booking. They gave me after I wanted. After this, I checked that hair-driyer didn't work :) and they changed afterwards. This was comedy that, my room key card didn't work every day and gave error. Every day, I got up to the room and again got down to the ground, they repaired my key card and again I got up to my room. The reason which they said "don't put next to your other card or phone", but I was storing this especially in my pocket.

Friendly staff but hotel a touch tired We had a room booked for the night of a rugby match. Reception staff very friendly and helpful but gave us a room 328 which smelt like a hot pair of footy boots that 't been cleaned all season. To their credit the room was changed with bags relocated for us and the room (101) was much better. Bathroom pleasant and everything was clean and worked.

Was ok but telly didn't work a asked for help but no maintenance on so couldn't and toilet didn't flush once again asked but no help staff where foreign and didn't understand and couldn't understand English so that was the problem apart from that it was clean smart and gym and sauna pool was very good I would go again but staff where shit should be more friendly and understand English but that's London for you

June Visit to Hounslow Stayed here as we had tx for Wimbledon. Very nice hotel, gr8 staff and service. Easy to get into centre of London. Never heard a single aeroplane! Bit noisy on 1st evening, from a beatbox? from the gym, downstairs but didn't happen, again, during our stay.

Disliked: The rooms are badly maintained. - Water tap is taped up. - Toilet is dirty and has mould on the wall and floor. - Blackout twice in the 4 nights stay. First blackout occur in the morning and the second power outage happen in the midnight. Apparently the 2nd power cut happen because the hotel is carrying out the maintenance. Hotel staff did not take the initiative to inform all the guest about the planned maintenance.

Disliked: £14.80 for a glass of mediocre wine and a pint of lemonade - expensive! Hotel described as 4* - not even close! Bathroom plumbing rattled and rumbled all night Long preventing sleep. Altogether an experience I do not intend to repeat!

Disliked: 1) The reason we were staying in the hotel was to attend the England vs New Zealand rugby match (start time 14.30). At 13.15 we ordered a taxi via reception to take us to the match. The cab did not turn up for over an hour. We could have walked it in the time and we would have done if we had been given accurate information. The late arrival of the cab directly resulted in us missing the beginning of the match. We later found out (from hotel staff) that there had been similar issues experienced by other hotel customers who were offered the same taxi company by the reception staff. I find this wholly unacceptable. If there had been previous problems, a different company should have been used. 2) I gave my card number online when booking the room. We were asked to pay for the room on arrival which we did, using another card. No mention of releasing the the deposit was made at the time (I assumed no money had been withdrawn as we were asked to pay for the room). We stayed in the room for one night and I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded three days after we paid for the room in full. 3) The room (402) was noisy.

Disliked: There was water leaking into the bathroom that has clearly been going on for a Long time: heavy damp staining around the wood overhead and at the sides. Our complaint fell on deaf ears. Worse is that the water seems to be leaking around a light bulb so there is a fire risk. Management were not interested and refused to give a discount.

Liked: The hotel was very convenient for us. Near the tube and shops. Even though I didn, t use the gym it looked very good, especially the swimming pool.
Disliked: I ordered an English breakfast at £13.95 and did not enjoy it. They keep coming round and filling up your cup with more tea. Why can they not give you a teapot. I don't think it is a four star hotel and I felt it was expensive for what you got. The safe was broken in the room but I could not be bothered telling them.

Disliked: On basemen of this hotel there is Gold gym - it means that all afternoon untill 21 p. M. You have to listen rumpling music within the hotel. The same situation repeats in the morning - absolutely terrible experience! Off course hotel staff cannot effectively help you with it but their communication to guests about it is ridiculous. Avoid this hotel!

Liked: Drinks alittle dear, £4.70 for pint. Bar area ok and pool very nice although part of a very busy gym. Location very good for use of tube/subway, 50 minutes to centre of London.
Disliked: I fully understand that the hotel is in a built up area, no problems with that, but our room was third floor (fine) over looking some offices and net curtains or something would not go amiss. Room 303 had a very poor flush on it, took about 3-4 attempts to take waste away and even then left loo paper in the bowl.

Liked: Proximity to public transportation - both Underground, and nearby bus stop for many buses. Price for quality. We wanted a place that was nice at a decent price. That's what we got. Great for Hounslow area, a bit far if visiting main London sites. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Transportation takes 45 minutes+ to touristy areas. Smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway. Fire alarm went off one evening due to guest smoking. It was clear people were smoking there even before then. 26 lb taxi ride from Heathrow Terminal 5.

Liked: Excellent double-glazing thus super quiet. Very comfortable bed; above average size room; has been upgraded a few years back. Pleasant and considerate staff. Good a/c after we changed rooms.convenience, only 200 yards to underground and to a comprehensive High Street. 50 yards to a good pub.
Disliked: Carpets in public areas grubby. Lack of attention to maintenance details; a tap handle in bathroom was taped on!

Disliked: Beds were not fixed and rolled/ moved when we sat on them. Parking was very restricted especially as we have restricted mobility. Once in the hotel this was not a problem.

Liked: The accommodation were actually quite nice, the staff seemed friendly and helpful, the facilities were more than adequate for our needs. It was quiet both in and around the hotel which is situated close to the tube station but the nearby streets were not loud or busy. There was a gym and pool downstairs that were well equipped and clean, as well as spa facilities (nails, massage, etc.) on offer at reasonable rates and with very friendly therapists. It was a hidden gem; and such a treat! The hotel was within easy walking distance of shops and eateries of all kinds, and the local pubs and restaurants were all very budget-friendly while still serving decent meals. The local pubs have some great deals on, too, so well worth popping in to check what's on. The premises also had a nice restaurant with delicious dinner options and an acceptable breakfast menu.
Disliked: Please note that I had no negative feelings towards the hotel or services offered there. The following comments are solely based on observations and experiences outside of the property and are the only thing that negatively impacted and influenced my overall opinion of our stay. The surrounding area (just a few blocks from the hotel) was unsettling after nightfall. There is a noticeable police presence, but walking about in the dark is not comfortable (the general vibe from local youths loitering in packs was disconcerting. This isn't to say that everyone we encountred was a potential thug, but we did feel vaguely threatened in some areas, and hastened back to the hotel for the remainder of the evening as a result! This is not an issue if you don't plan to 'hit the town' after dark, but take care not to stroll about alone if you don't have to.

Liked: The staff and, having used them on a previous visit, the gym facilities.
Disliked: Not being informed at the time of booking what type of breakfast was provided and getting a continental breakfast with a surcharge of £4 for a full English.

Liked: The room and teh hotel were clean and reception were very efficient and helpful.
Disliked: The air conditioning in my room failed and was then intermittent in operation. The breakfast staff were a little surly (Note: they need to great people courteously when they arrive). Also, the lift was extremely small (max 3 persons) for this size of hotel. And finally, this is not a 4* hotel. It is more like a 3 * one!
