A County Hotel guest gave the hotel 3 out of 5 and said:
We stay at this hotel two or three times a year, on all occassions Staff could smile more and appear more interested in clients. Breakfast functional. Room was OK although corridor areas dated and in need of refurb. Overall I'd rather stay in a Travelodge, better value for money, but there isn't one in this area

My wife and i stayed at the court hotel to save travelling home late at night....the staff were friendly the hotel is certainly clean enough (not sure why others think not) our room was basic but clean and certainly good enough for our needs and the hotel is overall great value.when people book a hotel for ?45 online and ?50 just passing i wish they wouldn't expect the quality of the ritz....this is a mainly business hotel and also a budget hotel and to be fair if they want more than this sort of hotel offers then maybe it's best to pay ?150 or so for a nights sleep.for a short stay this hotel offers great value and it is also very peaceful.i alos checked to see if there was likely to be any functions on the date we stayed and found out easily online that there wasn't.my advice would be that if you need to stay somewhere close to london on a budget,then look no further.
