I love the location to Gatwick airport. I was nicely surprised when my husband and I were given a king room. It was so spacious and a huge bed. The staff are as always so polite and helpful. The food is very reasonable. This was our second stay here en route to Spain and we will certainly stay again. Thanks from both of us.

Pleasantly surprised at the convenience and comfort of this hotel. No fuss, speedy attention of staff, no hassles. Signage from the airport terminals to the hotel for walkers (5 minutes) was very helpful.

New hotel, walking distance from Gatwick South Terminal along a well-marked and adequately lit pedestrian path. The walk took perhaps 10 minutes pulling roll-aboard suitcases. There is regular shuttle bus service to the terminal for 3 pounds per person, but why bother unless the weather is bad. We have previously stayed at the Moat House, also walking distance from South Terminal, and the Courtyard is definitely upscale and somewhat cheaper, probably because it is new (we paid approximately $100 American). It is typical Marriott quality (Marriott is our preferred brand). As we stayed less than 12 hours between flights, I can't comment much more on the hotel. The downside is that Internet access is not free.
