Rating out of 10: 7 Date stayed: April 2007 review: Quality hotel in everyway, rooms comfortable, food great and a nice friendly attmosphere. Only downside was that I was travelling on a budget so i left my bank cards at home to avoid temptation and only had £100 cash. Hotel insisted that I eaither leave a credit card or £150 deposit, as I had neither, the situation became tense and I was being refused entry into my prepaid room. After half an hour and intervention by the manager I was allowed to stay but they insisted on emptying the mini-bar in my room. Talk about being made to feel SMALL. Stayed in other hotels around area for past 5 years without same problem. It was the insistance on leaving £50 per night deposit that got my back up, looking at the prices of the items in the mini bar though £50 wouldn't of been enough. Would of given 9/10 otherwise. Rating out of 10: 1 Date stayed: December 2005 review: New Year eve party special, the only thing special was that the bar area was between 3 and 5 degrees Celsius due to the fact that the main entrance doors open into the Isle Bar? (Great Architect) had to wear coats all night!!!! So to sum up great if you re an Eskimo otherwise don t stay here during the winter months!!! Plenty of warm hotels in London!!!!! |

| Rating out of 10: 9 Date stayed: February 2004 review: What a fantastic hotel! staff at reception were polite and courteous, restaurant served excellent food and manager and waiters were very attentive. Facilities were amazing with a nice swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and a very good gymnasium I recommend that you stay here! |
