Rated 4 out of 5 :
This Crowne Plaza is a franchised run hotel. The hotel lies on the busy Shoreditch High Street, and numerous buses stop outside the hotel, so transport is no problem. The only problem at present is the location in a rather run down area, however improvements are being made so this area will probably be the next in place! The rooms were spacious for London standards and well appointed bathrooms. All rooms seem to offer free Internet access. There is a small Club Lounge on the ground floor, where a small but sufficient selection of snacks and drinks are available.
The restaurant, Globe, is located on the 7th floor with spectacular views over the city.
The dinner menu was a bit limited and hit and miss with the quality of food.
Location of the other CP at the City (Blackfriars Bridge) is more centrally placed and occupies a smarter area of London, however the kindness and excellent service of the staff at Shoreditch CP scores more highly in my book!

Rated 5 out of 5 :
Friendly and attentive staff. Cosy, elegant and spacious rooms. Decent breakfast. This hotel is really up to its standard. Not far from Liverpool street tube station. If it's of any importance to you, the windows cannot be opened, so getting fresh air inside is not possible:) Charges for WiFi apply (which, in my opinion should not be the case with 4* business hotels). Nevertheless, if you get a good rate, I would definitely recommend it.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 :
The location was perfect for our purpose of the Sunday markets and only a short journey into the city for the Saturday night out. Very relaxed atmosphere and a great view from the roof bar across London.
