| Rated 4 out of 5 : Great value for money, clean, comfortable rooms with everything you need. Great cafe over the road and corner shop for milk etc. The breakfast is ok enough to set you up for the day. The staff are ok but they could do with a lesson or two in manners! On the whole you get what you pay for I will go back when business dictates I need to be in the area. Try the burger its the best I have tasted for a while! Rated 4.7 out of 5 : Liked: Car Park. Friendly staff Disliked: Could not keep up with breakfast demand. Food was cold and not replenished quickly in some cases Overall: Good hotel, easy access around London. 8 minute walk to Bethnal Green which is on the Central line. Tesco metro opposite hotel. Underground car park very secure (but pricey at ?20 per night) Rated 4.5 out of 5 : I was pleasantly surprised by The Re once I had found the hotel as it is a bit further out of Shoreditch than I expected.. But once inside I was pleased with the contemporary surroundings and a very comfortable standard of accommodation for a very reasonable price. The reception staff were very polite and helpful, the check in was very smooth and the room of a very good standard. The bed was very comfortable and assured a good nights sleep. In the evening I ordered off the bar menu as there was nothing on the restaurant menu that I fancied, yet I was able to eat in the restaurant and received the same level of service off a very friendly and attentive waiter. The burger and fries were hot and tasty and worth the price. I took a continental breakfast the following morning and would say that the breakfast service was average but acceptable. The only thing I would be critical of is that there is no free WiFi and having to buy an access code from reception is a little archaic. However if you don't mind staying a little out of town in the east end the hotel offers a good standard of accommodation and value for money. A guest rated the stay at 4 out of 5 and wrote: We just came back from spending a week at the Days Hotel Shoreditch in London and we couldn't have been happier. We've stayed at more expensive, centrally located hotels that didn't come anywhere near to the quality this hotel. The room was a decent size, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the maid service was attentive. We brought a laptop and paid ?20 for the week for high-speed internet access (a little steep, but given the price of the room, it was hard to complain). It was just a 10 minute walk to a tube station, which meant that a trip downtown took about 25 minutes. The hotel itself is in a neat area -- a real neighbourhood, not at all touristy. Given the price, location, and overall quality of this hotel I would definitely stay here again! |

Rating out of 10: 10 Date stayed: June 2009 review: Really nice, clean hotel with friendly English service which i found to be great value for the money. I have been to worse 4* hotels especially when travelling to London. I suppose it helps that everthing is quite new, this is what makes it a pleasant stay. Rating out of 10: 10 Date stayed: April 2009 review: This was an excellent hotel all round. I have stayed in many budget hotels which are tatty, old or feel like rabbit hutches, especially in London. This hotel is truly the exception as the lobby and reception were big and rooms were new and delightful (they even had an iron and board in the room for my crumpled shirt!). Staff were always rushed and busy but really nice. This is my new base of stay for the city. |
