| Rated 4 out of 5 : stayed in a ground floor room, found it to be spacious enough for two. Bathroom larger than some other budget chains. Very clean. Looks recently refurbished. Small bar/seating area - you can get a drink but not really suitable for relaxing in, plenty of local establishments. Overall this hotel exceeded our expectations Rated 4 out of 5 : I turned up at 1030 thinking that I?d have to leave my luggage in a store room whilst I went out on business for the day but they expedited a room clean to let me check in which was great for me. Room was small but otherwise fine. Clean, nothing falling apart, windows worked etc.. towels clean, nothing threadbare. Breakfast was basic but included in the price and adequate for what I wanted. For the price and location this place is very good. I will use it again if I need to be at that end of town. Rated 4 out of 5 : If you're looking for a nice location, a block from Paddington Station (the Heathrow Express train runs out of Paddington -- awesome 15 min. to airport!) this is the hotel for you. On a cute block of "row" hotels a block or so from Hyde & Kensington Parks, this just-remodeled small hotel features space-efficient rooms with lots of shelves/storage for suitcases and a modern bathroom -- very nicely done. Can't beat that in London. A nice continental breakfast included the next morning, too! And the price is awesome! Rated 4.9 out of 5 : Liked: In a double room, the shower was excellent and the buffet breakfast is more than adequate Disliked: Perhaps the noise of the traffic might keep you awake if you aren't used to the traffic. The double bed room is quite small, but adequate Overall: I like the hotel, the breakfast and the staff, I would probably stay there again and stay at the street side rather than the main road traffic side... Rated 3.5 out of 5 : Unfortunately the weather was very warm ad the room, being at the top of the hotel and very small, was very very hot - and stayed so all night. It was, however quiet and clean. The receptionist the next morning said "Oh you could have had a fan...." Too late then. |
