| Rated 4 out of 5: The Hotel was exactly what I was looking for due to a very early flight time the following morning. Proximity to Gatwick Airport and reasonable room rates. Rated 5 out of 5: Excellent accommodation and facilities. Good staff and friendly service. Would recommend for business or pleasure stays away. Rated 3.5 out of 5: The room was quite small and not particularly inviting with minimal furniture. However everything worked and considering location next to major road and airport was well soundproofed and I slept no problem during the day after a night flight. The staff at reception were extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Tired rooms - great staff. Rated 4 out of 5: A good-quality, standard business hotel situated right next to Gatwick Airport. Rooms may have been uninteresting but were clean, comfortable and conducive to a good night's sleep. Exactly what we needed before flying the next morning! One flaw: the 'free' wi-fi voucher we were given did not work. I didn't really need internet access, so didn't pursue it - might just have been a simple mistake. |

Rating out of 10: 3 Date stayed: June 2011 review: My husband and I stayed at your Hotel over night and was totally shocked at the huge price we had to pay for just a room without breakfast, and also a charge for parking our car. Anyway we swallowed this and went for a drink at your bar, shock horror I had a small glass of wine and my husband had a vodka and coke and the bill came to almost £15 I thought my husband was going to have a heart attack, he was very very angry, all we wanted was to relax at the bar for the night before our flight the next day, so we were forced to go to our room for the rest of the evening. Earlier we had look at a 4 star bed and breakfast that only charge £50,per night for both of us, then we saw the moat house and thought it would be nice to stay there. The reason we booked was we were to embarrass to say no as the lobby was busy and we didn't want to look like fools. Never again will we stay in any big chain you have seen to that, we are going to support the little guys in future. Rating out of 10: 1 Date stayed: August 2005 review: If it were possible to give a zero, I would have done that, since we were in fact unable to stay at the hotel because they were overbooked! We arrived at half past midnight, back from Rhodes, having booked and paid for a twin room and they were overbooked by 3 parties. They sent us to a much more expensive and very nice hotel at their cost, but that is not the point. They difd NOT provide the service I had paid for. My daughter and I were lucky; the night receptionist had been unable to find alternative accommodation for the other 2 parties. |
