review: We booked the honeymoon suite 4 months ago and been looking forward to it ever since. We have stayed in the suite before and loved it so were really excited at the prospect of starting our holiday in style. However, on arrival the TV had shrunk, the bath panel had been broken and put together with yellow adhesive, and the fluffy white robes had disappeared. The Jacuzzi didn't work, the TV didn't work and we couldn't be transferred as the alternative rooms were fully booked. We were devasted and angry (especially as the staff appearred to feel this was completely acceptable as we had got it at a special price?!?). We complained at the front desk and were offered a refund on the money we'd paid for the transfer. Although our stay had been ruined irretrievably, we felt we were due some sort of discount so we agreed. They said they would put a note on the system for the day staff to ensure they knew to arrange this for when we checked out. In the morning the day staff had no knowledge of this and said we would need to deal with it when we got back as there was no one there to authorise it. A fortnight later we arrived back with ten minutes to spare before the transfer buses stopped and breathed a sigh of relief. Short-lived, as when we rang five minutes later to make sure there were no problems, we were told that it had been and gone and that we would need to get a taxi. Not bad considering that it was meant to be arriving at the same time we were on the phone being told it had left! After a ?17 taxi fare to the hotel we decided they could stick their transfer refund, as we wouldn't pay 17p to go there again! Shame because we have recommended this hotel to anyone that will listen and have booked this hotel every time we've gone on holiday for the last three years without even checking the competition. They even had the audacity to tell us that the return transfer is complimentary! Reception are wasted they should be doing stand-up comedy or starring in Fawlty Towers. P.S. No lifts so be warned if you have heavy cases to take up to the room. (It is only one floor though).

review: Due to accident on M1 our car had to be relayed to hotel. Not good start to hols but they were superb as they arranged for the repair after phoning round for the best quote.We were met at airport within 20 mins of landing inspite of heavy snowfall. Amazing service.And the rooms are fine .

review: We stayed for 1 night prior to going on holiday to Barbados. We found the room warm and the linen and towels clean. The staff were polite and helpful. Although the hotel is shabby in parts we would certainly stay here again. Food was adequate and not expensive although we did not have breakfast. Shuttle bus was fine we did not encounter any problems. The hotel is not bothered by aircraft noises so a good nights sleep was possible.

review: Totally rubbish hotel. The bus to the hotel stops running at 11.30pm so if you land after that its ?17 in a taxi. The return "complimentary" bus to the airport is only free if you can get their bus to the hotel in the first place. If (like us) you can't get the bus to the hotel because you land after 11.30pm the return journey is chargeable, at ?4 each regardless of age. Rooms were awful, bed is rock hard and after midnight I think the staff forgets customer service even exists. Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!

review: Stayed prior to flight. Could not fault. Service at check in, bar and restaurant was first class.  As well was the transfer to the airport.  We used the Meet & Greet Service and upon arrival back in UK, had the quickest exit from the airport (30 mins max) and our car was already waiting for us.  Could not fault the service and will certainly use again.

review: Hotel was OK. Transfer to airport was fine but on return to airport after an 8 hour flight we waited nearly one and a half hours from the time we phoned hotel to the time we were picked up.would not recommend.

review: This hotel is ok and that's just it "ok" rooms are pretty basic, rock hard bed. Has a nice bar & restaurant bit pricey but thats expected. Parking the car is a nightmare as its a chaotic system I've never seen anything like it, if you arrive in the dark you have no hope of finding a space. its like a free for all, you have to drive all the way round the back of the hotel and find a verge! On return at the airport we waited 1 hour 10 minutes to be picked up! and one poor couple had to be left there as they could'nt fit in the mini bus, they were told to wait until it returned! Will not use this hotel again.

review: Our room was sparsly furnished and the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever tried to sleep in. I spent the night sat in the hotel lounge as there were no comfortable chairs in the room. The transfer service finishes quite early and so we had to get a taxi back to the hotel at a cost of ?13 50. The car had been moved into a yard round the back of the hotel.- not a nice walk for a lone woman We were very disappointed with this hotel and would not use it again

review: Restaurant: excellent, good food, friendly staff, if a bit expensive
Hotel: Room average. Staff cold.
Parking (for 14 days): Rang for shuttle bus back from Gatwick, was told 15-20 mins, arrived 50 minutes later!! Car not found in main car park, but past a health club up a grassy bank, parked in a smelly stable yard not accessible directly from hotel by road or foot. Very poor.

review: the hotel was a clean and pleasent place to stay. on arriving the staff were friendly and willing to go out there way to help us with our baggage. i would recommend this hotel to anyone. especially the quality of food in the restaurant, it has excellent varity. the whole experience at the hotel was excellent, i will be using them again
