Rated 5 out of 5 :
centrally located, room available early, lovely lobby, clean rooms, nice amenities, better than average toiletries, decent brekkie, and they allowed us to store baggage for no cost. this was my second stay @ this hotel and you'd have to let me stay for free to get me to switch on my next trip.

I stayed here with 5 friends making a visit to London to catch a show in the Apollo. We shared 2 suites which suited both, our needs for a 2 night break & our pockets.
They hotel is very impressive, especially as it's literally 30seconds from Trafalgar Square, but don't worry the windows had double insulation for noise & none of ourr group had any problems.
The staff were very nice at check in & even let us take 1 of the suites a bit early as it was obvious we had just landed in London. The room was a little smaller than expected but had all it described.
The rooms were really warm, & we couldn't figure out how to turn the heating off, but we didn't bother asking so can't complain! We were 2 minute walk from a selection of tube stations & we managed to easily get from Gatwick Airport by Gatwick express to the hotel, also to the Apollo theatre, the London Dungeons, Camden Markets all by tube, and main shopping street & a couple nice restaurants nearby.
All in all perfect for the purpose.

Rated 3 out of 5 :
The hotel is in a great location, boutique, clean and attractive. I mention this is a pure business hotel for the self sufficient traveler simply because guidance and services for the inexperienced traveler do not exist. This hotel is pure value for the experienced EU business traveler from my perspective. As with many hotels, the front desk experience can be hit or miss depending on your needs, wants and personal interaction. I met with the front desk - guest service manager to discuss my experiences and she was very receptive. The attached restaurant "Watatsumi" features sushi which is the finest and the employees were the most welcoming I experineced while in London.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 :
Liked: Check-in staff were pleasant and welcoming. I like to think that a large hotel would be used to all kinds of people and I was NOT made to feel embarassed because we are a same sex couple(especially when you think of the recent story about a same-sex couple being turned away from a private guest house because of the owners' medieval morality). We were also offered a room upgrade for ?15.00 which we accepted.
Disliked: Room, despite air con, was far too hot. Bedside tables were covered in thick dust, which was strange as the rest of the room was immaculate. Self-service breakfast was not all that - staff could have been a lot more helpful, ensuring that there were cups and an urn with coffee in it without us having to ask for it. I dropped a piece of cutlery, a member of the restaurant management saw me drop it yet it was ME who had to get a replacement from another table. For ?20.00 a head I did expect breakfast to be a bit more of a thrill.
Overall: Considering it was just a one-nighter, we had a pleasant enough stay.
