Hotel was spotlessly clean. the gym, swimming pool, steam room and sauna were amazing. The beds were really comfortable

I was compelled to write a review of my recent stay at Hanbury Manor after reading the negative comments posted.
My family and I stay for 1 night at Hanbury during Christmas and had an absolutely wonderful time.
I loved the wooden oak features, tapestry on the walls and the drawing room with the high ceilings where we had afternoon tea next a roaring log fire. We had a great choice or teas, cakes and sandwiches and they even kindly offered to give us a few more!
The hotel itself was stunning, quaint and has so much character that it was like something out of an old movie!
With regards to the decor, yes it's old... the building itself is from the 16th Century and the beautiful paintings, decor and ambience reflect that.
The rooms was lovely, clean and spacious.
We did use the spa and yes, there were children in the pool, but they were harmless and polite.
Hanbury Manor is a 5 star hotel with a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, it's not going to be cheap, and I felt it was well worth the money.
The staff were friendly, warm and inviting and I would definitely go back there again.

review: The hotel was absolutely amazing, it had a beatiful setting, enchanting gardens and more. The hotel staff makes you feel right at home giving you service almost immediatly making things the easiest possible. If you ever get a chance to go to England this hotel is definantly the place to stay.
