Very close to the Gloucester Road underground. The room was spacious. The lobby and restaurant area were modern, comfortable and inviting. The area surrounding the hotel is great for food, pubs and entertainment. Great location
Overall very good but the room i stayed in looked a little dated.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 :
This was the first time I stayed at this groups hotels and I was impressed with the welcome and the receptionist and staff were friendly. I was told I was given an upgrade to a suite, which initially I was pleased with but unfortunately there were separate beds and the pull out was not very comfortable to sleep in. I would have queried it but was just too tired to bother. Something to bear in mind if you are staying there on a romantic weekend.

A nice looking period building with larger than average rooms done out in English Country House style - watercolour prints, that sort of thing. On a pretty quiet street in Kensington and handy for the Tube. It's owned by a Spanish chain so was full of Spanish guests which made it feel like we were in Spain. Fortunately the excellent breakfast was English... I found the bar area a bit sterile but Mrs A thought it was tasteful. 2 minor downsides; first, the breakfast waiters kept forgetting to bring Mrs A's tea on both mornings  and second their WiFi is charged extra.
