review: We stayed at this hotel for one night. Our room was mainly clean, altough the carpet and some of the paint work was a bit tired.The room was above some sort of generator and this was very noisy during the early hours of the morning. The hotel itself looks very impressive from the outside ,and it has some old world charm. When we arrived at the restaurant the following moring we were met by a curt- there are no tables at the moment- you can wait if you like or wait in the bar area. We decided to wait- and were eventually shown to a table that had not been cleared. It took a further 10 minutes to do this. Things went from bad to worse when there were no significant buffet items available and no glasses for juice- they were being washed. People were receiving wrong orders, and some left without having breakfast! The staff (in the restaurant only) were less than polite and had no sense of customer service. It was very disappionting as we had stayed at Hand Picked Hotels before and had an excellent experience.

review: Really lovely hotel. Every one made us exceptionally welcome. The room was lovely, and the breakfast was top quality! The hotel has a family feel, which makes such a nice change.

review: Friendly staff all round, very helpful and respectful. Check in was smooth and efficient no hassle. Nothing was too much to ask, especially when it was really hard to find a taxi at a crucial time they kept on trying. We really appreciated their help at this as it meant we never missed an important business dinner. The breakfast staff were excellent, service with a smile. Thank you.

review: Beautiful hotel and a great place to stay. The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were very luxurious. There is a lovely garden to sit and relax in and the breakfast was excellent. Will definitely go back again.
