Excellently located hotel with good, professional service as expected from the Hilton chain. Deluxe Plus room on the small side but well-furnished with all the usual trimmings ie toiletries,tea/coffee etc. Good decor throughout the hotel and dining room very swish. Excellent choice for breakfast with some items cooked to order. I would use this hotel again if I could get the same Lateroom price.

I stayed here for a few nights on a business trip. The hotel was chosen by my client for its location. Having previously worked in the neighborhood for a five years, I was delighted to be staying in an area I knew particularly well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The staff were very helpful, the all-you-can-eat breakfast array is impressive, and the public areas were stylish and welcoming. As a single traveler, I was booked into a single room, and upon opening the door was transported back to my college days as the room was smaller than the one I had stayed in in college. I don't require a palatial spread, and generally prefer a cozy environment, but this was far too basic and cramped for a Hilton hotel.

the location was great. we were within walking distance from bond street, picadilly circus, buckingham palace, oxford street, etc etc.
the room was a really good size but we were a family of 2 adults and a 2 year old..there were 2 seperate beds. the room with the king bed was half the size so we elected for the larger room. the floors above us were really noisy so we were often woken/disturbed by the sounds. if you have a stroller that you can lift or a wheelchair..forget this hotel. we were on the 1st floor and each floor had a series of stairs.
the breakfast that was included was terrific. great variety. the staff was fabulous. they were really good with our son and came by to chat every morning.
as mentioned it is over priced but that's to be expected given the area where it is. one big issue we had was that we bought some soup for our 2 year old and the kitchen staff would not heat it up...sited that its a health violation. the best they could do was give us hot water which didn't work. needless to say we were pissed off and i'm surprised for what we paid ( that they weren't more accomodating.
also if you want to eat out the restaurants in the area are expensive so take a walk over to picadilly/oxford/china town for something reasonable and child friendly.

review: we are a party of 4 ladies who do a yearly weekend this was our 5th year.the first time at this hotel, we had a wonderful time food,rooms can't fault. staff we're wonderful we were treated like queen's we will recommand this hotel to our family and friends
