The friendly and helpful staff! I had an early start and got breakfast of my own selection delivered to my room at 4.30 am without extra charge. The lady in the breakfast room was very friendly and the receptionist made his best to help me to have a successful outing to Bishops Stortford. I also enjoyed the sauna and Jacuzzi, even though the place looks a bit scruffy and would need a makeover. The shuttle service was perfect, although I think it should be included in the price.
The long corridors and that WIFI is not free of charge. The old taps in the bathroom leaked. The room was too dark, I missed a pendant or a floor lamp.

Nice friendly staff with very good standard of cleanliness and hygiene as would be expected for the Hilton. Some parts of the hotel showing age but overall clean and comfortable room, spacious and all necessary amenities. Bar service and food was great and not too badly priced, as have come to expect as a frequent traveller and stayed in hotels. Big advantage having a very competitively priced car hire on location and great for those god forsaken early airport check-ins and early out of hrs car hire returns; the reasons I used it.

A few goods and bads. Really good location, a shame to have to pay 2 pound each way to get there.
The bedroom is a bit disappointing for a Hilton Hotel, but we did pay a very good price.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.
However the bathroom was very small and not 'too fresh' , there was a hair in the bath which was a bit suspect!!
The service was very nice and the staff very polite. All the extras are very expensive (almost 4pound for a coke)
Breakfast is very nice with a lot of choice, they also offer in from 5am which is very good to catch an early flight.
A little bonus for the room service, which is excellent!! food is also very nice.
A bit surprise as to the way they take payment on your card before you arrive and also before you actually check out all your extras are already taken out, which i think isnt very good for an hotel, as they don't tell you that before.
So a few bads, but well done to the staff and to the quality of the food.

We stayed at this hotel as we had an early flight from Stansted. Yes, it was a bit dated but it was clean and certainly good value for money. All of the staff were polite and welcoming. We used the pool, etc and although small was well kept. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was also very good. If you want a 5 star hotel then you need to pay 5 star prices otherwise this is a more than adequate airport style hotel.
