Rated 4 out of 5:
Rooms are clean and spacious. Not a "luxurious" hotel. Lacks ambiance. Location is great! Near Historic Sights, National Art Museum, Theatre District and Underground. Staff is helpful and responds to requests in a timely fashion.

Rated 4 out of 5:
Had a great two-night stay at the Trafalgar in an excellent location - just in the corner of Trafalgar Square opposite Canada House. Yes, the bar area is expensive as other reviewers have said, but the atmosphere is great as it is used by local office workers as a place to meet for drinks and cocktails after work, and this gives it an extra buzz. There is a cool DJ on Friday night and we found the service for food and drink quick and accurate from the bar staff.
The room was clean and modern and overlooked the Square. There was minimal traffic noise and the surrounding rooms were quiet. Bathroom was spacious with a good power shower. Didn't use the mini bar as it was unnecessarily expensive.
Can't comment on breakfast as we paid for room only, but had a great full English at Cafe Concerto on Haymarket for around ?7.
Overall, really enjoyed our stay - especially being able to easily walk to Piccadilly, Regent Street and Covent Garden as well as being centrally located for most London attractions.

Rated 3.5 out of 5:
We enjoyed our stay at The Trafalgar although our room was a little noisy late at night (first floor at the front) we requested a change upon check-in but were told that twin room numbers were limited and others occupied. Although we were two adults and one teen, we were only given enough towels and glasses for two people. The room itself was very large although lacking in any decoration - a picture or two wouldn't have gone amiss! The bathroom was large and generally clean, except for the corners which could do with a little attention. Breakfast was a little scant and not terribly fresh although we visited towards the end of the sitting, the staff were very helpful and charming. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

review: Despite being a 5 star hotel, very poor hotel. No exercise room or pool. No residents lounge. Very noisy bar and reception area.
