Used this hotel for overnight stay, as it was very reasonably priced, when had to pick our son up from an early morning flight. Rooms were very clean with everything we needed and shower was very good. A little way from Gatwick, but this suited us. Only niggle was the breakfast as it was basic, although when asked, the only assistant in the dining room, did bring out some more croissants and one bowl of grapefruit. So if there is no fruit remember to ask. Overall for what we paid it was worthwhile and also very quiet during the night even though we were told it was fully booked. They are extending the hotel at the moment, but no work taking place when we stayed on a Friday evening until 11 am on the Saturday.

As a frequent Holiday express customer I was surprised to find that there is no porter service. Considering it is serving customers from the Gatwick airport you'd assume there would be a porter available to help manage the luggage. Luckily for me the gentlenam on reception , Mr Ashras ( hopefully the right spelling!) , was kind to offer a helping hand. Overall, the hotel has all the basic facilities you would expect for the price of the room. Excellent hygiene. Great Staff. Close to the airport.

Disliked: 1 TV Station seletion poor. Normal 1-5 station BBC ITV etc about 4-5 sport then the rest seemed to be movie selection which had to be paid for a sure money maker for motel company given that there is a great many FREE channels that could be included 2 No heater in bathroom, and as there is air extraction it makes it cold 3 We were only given 1 'card key' and have to insert card into a card reader that lets you have power to room hence when one leaves the room and takes card key to go out for a meal etc all power is cut off, so room goes cold....not good 4 No info in room regarding local eating venues 5 No radio/ alarm clock by bed 6 No spare blanket in case of cold etc 7 As the motel shares parking with Harvester eating venue there may be on busy nights a lack of parking
Overall: I would use this motel again as it is- as motels go- a good place to stop and is near airport
