| Rated 4 out of 5 by a Holiday Inn Express Greenwich guest: I have stayed at many Holiday Inn's and Holiday Inn Express' and safe to say, the Holiday Inn Express London-Greenwich is up near the top in excellence. The building is very impressive and just a 10 minute walk away from the O2 Arena and North Greenwich tube station. Location wise, it's brilliant for the O2. On checking-in, all staff seemed friendly and genuinely happy, which is always a plus. The rooms are basic, as with any express hotel, but comfortable and spotlessly clean. I had booked a twin room and the room was very spacious and the beds were great. Bar prices are reasonable, given that it is a London Hotel (around ?3.40 a pint) and the bar is nicely furnished. If you want a taxi to the O2, the reception team are more than happy to book your cab for you. It costs a set fee of ?5.00 which isn't bad, considering the metered rate in a black London taxi costs about ?7.00 (no traffic). I cant comment on Breakfast as we didn't eat there, but the serving area looked clean and is just round the corner from the bar. All in all, a very pleasant stay, reasonable room rates and great staff. I will be returning when I'm next at the O2. Rated 4 out of 5 : stayed for one night for a concert in o2 last summer. Hotel was very easy to find from the tube stop a very short walk. seems to be a fairly new holiday inn all areas of the hotel were clean and new. check in is on 1st floor, our room was small but comfortable. breakfast was disappointing continental only. there is a chinese restuarant on the ground floor of same building and a sainsbury nearby would stay here again if going to 02. Rated 4 out of 5 : location near to O2 only 15 minutes walk away. Adequate breakfast buffet style. Disliked: Cost more than expected Overall: well organised / managed hotel with everything we needed. Very clean and tidy. Rated 5 out of 5 : We stayed at the Express By Holiday Inn as we were going to see Nickelback at the O2. The location of the hotel was excellent - only ten minutes walk away. After a brilliant show...we went back to the hotel to be greeted by extremely happy and helpful staff...and a fully stocked bar!!! Perfect hotel for any event at the O2 - highly recommended! Rated 3.5 out of 5 : We only used this hotel because it was within walking distance of the O2. It was clean and the room was adequate but the cost was far too high |
