| A Holiday Inn Express guest gave the hotel 4 out of 5: we have stayed twice in the holiday inn express. The best bits about is the location, the polite staff-i(ndika - night manager and sudhaker ) , the breakfast and assistance . Overall it was a good experinece - the 2nd visit was slightly marred by loss of airconditioning - but we were given a fan -that did help and a apology was given -accepted! Rooms are average for HIexpress and it would help if both the lifts work! rather than one . as its Priced reasonably for the facilities . i would stay here again! Rated 3.6 out of 5: The room attendants were excellent. Front desk operators were also excellent. Disliked: Elevators no good, especially using the card to activate the doors. You need a simpler system. More towels are needed in the bath rooms--including "SMALL FACE TOWELS". Parking was too expensive. Overall: I suggest that you visit the Holiday Inn Express in the USA or Canada and copy some of their ideas. I find those facilities very attractive. Overall it was not all that bad, although twelve pounds per day parking was excessive. Rated 4 out of 5: With all the work that has been done to the road system in London, we found the journey to the Hotel very easy and convenient. The room was very clean and the bar and restaurant very welcoming. With the Tube station only being approx 5 mins walk from the hotel, access to the city was easy and with a family that likes to shop, we were not short of places to visit. Highlight of the day was the street entertainers at Covent Garden. Rated 3.5 out of 5: Customer service at this hotel was excellent. Problems with noise and food smell in room from the kitchen below tackled immediately and a change of room provided. Helpful friendly staff. Standard chain hotel but above average customer service. |

Rating out of 10: 7 Date stayed: May 2010 review: Staff were freindly & efficient, cleanliness was of high standard. The room a good size, but found more pricey than other hotels in the area.Wireless internet available voucher scheme, but make sure you use it all at once or you loose the rest of your credit.Breakfast has good choice although not very impressed by evening meals on offer for the price.A discount on room would of been nice as I was faced by dusty scaffolding outside my window. The key card system is terrible, took me more than several attempts to open my room.Overall nice but not exceptional for the area. Rating out of 10: 7 Date stayed: September 2007 review: I thought this hotel was OK. It's not expensive by London standards and the rooms are clean and modern. The breakfast buffet choice was good. But you MUST book a parking place in advance. I didn't and there were no parking places available. I left my car on the street overnight and it was broken into. Cost 600 GBP to repair. When I was there they were refurbishing the front hall which was a bit of an irritation. The staff were officious but OK. Rating out of 10: 9 Date stayed: February 2006 review: Good Value For Money! Clean rooms and lobby. Friendly staff. Better than other hotels in the area. Parking may be a problem, as you have to book in advance. |
