| A guest to the Holiday Inn Shepperton rated the accommodation 4 out of 5 : This was our second visit to this hotel. On both visits, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, the self service breakfast reasonable, and the health suite relaxing and enjoyable. Reception and waiting staff varied, in terms of customer service - some were extremely helpful and polite, whilst others were offhand, almost to the point of rudeness And whilst our room requirements were the same on both visits, the hotel's 'fluid pricing' policy resulted in one booking costing twice as much as the other. In summary, good value for money (on our second visit!). Rated 4 out of 5 : Stayed over a weekend and of the various hotels we have used as an outer London base - so far - easily the best. Location is very good - Free Parking which is a rarity on hotels inside the M25, Excellent gym/pool and just a nice feel to the place. Usual very good Holiday Inn Breakfast and the Restaurant prices pretty standard when compared to similar hotels. The staff were very good and very child friendly. My only beef is that there was no free wifi area and Holiday Inn continue to fleece guests ?15 to uise the the wifi for an hot - come on how on earth do you justify this ? Other chains pitched at the same demographic all offer at least free wifi in the lobby areas and some in the rooms too so come IC group - sort it out - Would it stop me staying there again - probably not but just leaves a bad tatse in the mouth on what was a very well run and good hotel. Rated 4.7 out of 5 : What a great looking hotel on the inside, decor was spot on, I didn't arrive until 9 at night and was pleased to find food was served until 11 which was great Manager and staff were very pleasent indeed Not being able to phone direct to the hotel to book is a big backward step in Customer service, secondly the boddingtons bitter was poor, normally it's quite Creamy the one i received was pretty much flat! I didn't have another one! Overall: Overall loved the hotel would go back again 100% but get some decent Bitter please lol Rated 4.5 out of 5 : Was a lttle worried when booking due to other reviews but the stay could not have been better. Staff were friendly and helpfull, the room was clean and very well presented and the breakfast was excellent. At laterooms prices this stay was an absolute bargin and I would definately recommend this hotel. As a bonus the pool and lesure facilites added to the enjoyment. |
