A Holiday Inn Sutton guest gave the accommodation 4 out of 5:
The check in was very efficiently dealt with and we were very pleased with a very large spacious family sized room as requested. This room was larger than the average family room you would expect in a hotel. The room had all the usual facilities except a fridge/mini bar. This would have been handy for a family with drinks, milk, bottles etc. We ate in the hotel restaurant. The food and service was good, if not great. However the children were made to feel comfortable. The only downside of the restaurant was that it lacked any kind of atmosphere and had a hollow, canteen like feel to it. The brekfast in the morning was good, with a wide range of foods avaliable. We used the leisure facilities which were spotlessly clean and were run by a friendly helpful member of staff. The swimming pool and other facilities were wide ranging for both individuals and families. This is a good base to use if you want to head to Chessington (10 mins drive) or into London ( 30 mins on a train). The train station is only 5 mins walk away. There are many local restaurants and bars within walking distance as well.

Rated 4 out of 5:
I stayed here twice in March for one night each time. I was persuaded to stay, as there was an offer on at the time. I wouldn't have bothered otherwise, as I don't consider their normal prices are value for money for what is after all just a chain hotel. There are not many hotels in Sutton and this is the closest to the town centre. This aspect was important to me as I had to walk to the hotel after the two nights out I spent in town. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the aircon worked fine, so I had a good night's sleep both nights. The reception staff were very friendly. I didn't use any of the amenities, although I have eaten here before and the food was good. Unfortunately, breakfasts cost about ?15 which I refused to pay, so I decided to eat at Morrisons which was about a third of the price. Parking was ?7.50. I used my work's car park instead. So all in all, two nice, comfortable stays, but wait for the offers!

Rated 4 out of 5:
Very clean and allocated a quietish room.
Disliked: No one explained the air con, and I think it was broken first night, it was snowing and room very cold, asked for extra blankets the following nights but none left or given.
Overall: Good.
