very modern hotel, high spec bathroom bit too modern for us so didn't feel as comfortable as we would have liked, didn't like the floor to ceiling windows as passerbys could see into the bedroom so you couldn't really have your blinds up. Would have liked to have had an iron/board available rather than have to use the laundry service. Did not like the very dark corridors (lights did come on via sensors when you walked down them though). Very chic though, if you like that kind of decor.

Disliked: I don't think the apartments are as nice as the hotel. The food was not as good as the last time I stayed.

Liked: The position of the hotel was excellent for visiting London. The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly. Lovely to sit out and watch the river whilst having drinks or breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms were excellent, large and fully equipped.
Disliked: The Double bed was not large enough. It was not King Size as in most Hotels.

Liked: How relaxed and at home I felt. But the highlight was the respect the staff gave me and how much they always ensured I was ok
Disliked: The workers in the massage department decided to leave early and I was not warned of that with notice so I didn't get to have any treatment

Liked: Comfortable and spacious rooms, excellent spa given its compact size, easy transport links to Victoria (170 bus every 5 minutes), free shuttle to Clapham Jn, great value when booked in advance, nice restaurants in Battersea square, 2 minutes walk away
Disliked: Location makes it a bit far to walk to the City's attractions, but bus link sorts that

Liked: Hotel receptionists were extremely helpful especially when our booking went from 2 adults, to two adults plus a teenager. Secure parking for car. Good breakfast selection and fabulous views of the river and heliport to entertain us while eating.

Liked: Price Could not congrats or complain on anything specific but this is certainly not 5 star hotel!
Disliked: Look positive comment. It is like small fraud if you really looking for five star hotel. On the other hand the price we pay was as well far below the price of 5* With some exception many of staff need good training There are thousand little things everywhere. In 5* you expect all staff have same uniforms, dress code. You certainly do not expect on breakfast service guy ruining around bringing food in dirty trousers, sneakers and baseball cap! What was quite annoying was sound from heliport just few meters away.

Liked: Very personal, kind staff; it's a professional hotel but you feel you are in someone's private passion.
Disliked: The only real problem is the location. Breakfast isn't very good, an overpriced motorway service station offering. Really below the standard of the rest of the hotel.

Liked: The Rafayel Hotel & Spa was a dream to stay in. It was our Honeymoon and we stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were pleasant on arrival and welcomed us to the hotel with a smile. Details of the room where explained to us and was upgraded to a bigger suite. Once in our room I was amazed at the size of the room and how clean as beautiful it was. There was complimentary chocolates with a greeting card congratulating us on our marriage. The room was huge with a super king-size bed which was amazing to sleep. There was a sofa, chair, table as well as 2 separate television's. The bathroom was a dream with a Jacuzzi bath with a television and a rainwater shower. We opted for breakfast in bed the morning after and it was brought to us on time, warm and presented to us of the hugest grade. On return following our day out the room was cleaned and bed was made with rose petals which added a better feel to the honeymoon. We didn't get chance to use the Spa or gym but with outcome of the hotel and ground I am sure it would be excellent. Overall brilliant stay and would stay again.
Disliked: The hotel is a little out of the way but if you know how to travel with the tube then its fine as the hotel do a free shuttle service to Clapham which is the closest station. That is the only issue I had.

Liked: We stayed 2 nights at the start of our honeymoon, the room had rose petals scattered and the staff refused a tip! I never asked for them to do this. The view was amazing in the river view room. It was noisy but we had loud music playing all night so perfect! This is a young hotel - we partied, we didn't come here to sleep ;)

Liked: I have stayed at Rafayel Hotel and Spa once before for a couple of nights on a business trip and really enjoyed my stay. This time, was just as good, I could not fault a thing (especially with the free room upgrade to a junior suite :D ).
Disliked: The only qualm I have is the location. Being next to the Thames has it's benefits and is great for morning and evening relaxation but had I not been on business just around the corner I would have found the journey into London a bit Long-winded, regardless of the frequent public transport links.

Disliked: Awful room placement above main entrance. Noisy, and very poor nights sleep. Exit interview feedback to hotel staff produced no results. They asked if I had a pleasant stay, then ignored my response! Didn't even offer an apology!

Excellent hotel great customer service well worth the money This hotel was very good it seems out of the way but the free shuttle bus to Clapham Junction on request was great. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with any request we had. Our room was of a high standard and very clean. An all round good experience and I will definitely stay here next time I go to London. Well done to the Rafayel!

Hotel great, restaurant average Stayed here for work and could not fault the hotel, staff were helpful and friendly even at 4.35am when I was helped to the car park with my bags. Room was large and well furnished, bathroom and shower were great, bed was comfortable and bed linen of good quality. My only negative was the restaurant, it is expensive for what it is, luckily you get 50% discount for being a guest. I felt that the staff do not really what to be there and your food was hurried even though the place was empty. Although the food was ok I would have been very disappointed if I had to pay full price. Unless you want to get a cab or drive there is no other place close by to eat.

Liked: My wife and I stayed at this hotel for birthday break and we're very impressed by the excellent standards of customer service in all departments of this hotel. The hotel has a very relaxing and hassle free air about it and the food in the restaurant is of a very high standard while still remaining reasonably priced. We will definitely book this hotel again when we visit London again.

Disliked: I think the spa facilities are a bit small for a big hotel. When I was there the jacussi and steam/ sauna were full and there is no where to lounge while you wait.

Liked: The view of the Thames was good, and the access to such as Westfield shopping centre and Central London was excellent because of the hotel shuttle, which we used three times, to clapham junction station to catch the overground and tube. Staff were friendly and helpful. Discounted room prices were about right for being a bit out of London.
Disliked: Breakfast We had for one morning was abysmal, plates and cups were missing from the "laid" tables, we were not asked whether we wanted tea or coffee for at least ten minutes (9th April) after helping ourselves to toast and croissant from the buffet. One of the milk jugs was almost empty and there was no sign to indicate what milk was skimmed etc. The items on display for the cooked breakfast did not include any eggs, so we declined that. All in all the cover price for £9.95 each for the service and continental breakfast for a 5 star hotel was disappointing. Much better to go the short journey to Westfield and enjoy attentive service and a quality breakfast.

Liked: All the staff were amazing! so accommodating. Hotel was spotless and just lovely! Gorgeous views. We loved every minute of our stay and will be back for a Longer stay with spa treatments next time!

Liked: Upgrade to apartment when we requested a bath tub. Spacious with terraced area and great views. Member of staff remembered us any time we went back to reception

Liked: The view from our room was amazing plus the technology available in the room. The size of the bed and the quality of the bed linen.
Disliked: Had difficulty understanding the reception we were left to find the room on our own room 120 and was rescued by another member of staff. Lack of information about transport. Just returned from Rome where information for guests was brilliant.

Engagement weekend Nice hotel but missing the five star touch. Difficult to get a taxi, kettle in the room had something disgusting in it, toilet didn't work properly so by no means the first class experience you expect with a five star hotel.

Liked: Air conditioned rooms, organic body wash & lotions, free shuttle service to rail stations (pre booked) numerous lounge areas throughout, library facility. Staff that go that extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay.
Disliked: On booking through the website no mention of requirement to pre book spa treatments.

Liked: We loved the size of the room and the way the bathroom was with the television in the bath. We also loved how you could play your music and it would come the ceiling. The hotel were also kind enough to leave us a card and chocolates with rose petals on the bed as it was our anniversary. Was lovely to be over looking the river too.
Disliked: Nothing we didn't like at all.
