Rated 4.6 out of 5:
Good location with easy access to underground. Felt safe and secure. Small front garden nice for a city location.
Room seemed small and a little dirty but would still probably stay again.

Rated 3.5 out of 5:
Yes the interior is a little tired, the rooms a little small and the furninshings could do with an upgrade at some stage but if you are looking for a good value hotel to get a good nights sleep, a hot bath and do a little work before leavig the next morning this hotel is ideal. Check in friendly and efficient, and they offer free WIFI which is a bonus. Wish I hadn't already eaten before I arrived as they offer some sort of Italian Buffet in the evening which looked quite good. Unlike other hotels the breakfast is quite cheap and looked good HOWEVER.... for some weird reason they will not let you pay in advance for Breakfast - you must pay when you turn up at the breakfast table in the morning. I came down without any money, did not have time to return to my room and ended up arguing with a surly waitress. When I later took this up with reception they were unapologetic and said this was company policy. Strange!! That was the only downside to an otherwise very acceptable stay.

Rated 3 out of 5:
This hotel is not great but it is a good value in a great location. We stayed here for a few days in Dec 2010 and were generally happy. The double room on the second floor was fairly large for London with a rare excellent high powered shower. The room was tired but functional and had a french door to a small balcony. Breakfast was nothing special. The location is my favourite in London within a short walk to tons of shopping, restaurants and 3 tube stations - not to mention Portabello Market in Notting Hill that's not to be missed. Decent place for the money.

A former guest to the hotel rated the stay 4 out of 5 and said:
The first thing you need to remember is that London hotel rooms are TINY! We've been to several different places in London and all have been "compact". Hyde Park Towers, however, excels in everything else. The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. The breakfast room is large and well stocked. The decor, although a little dated in some areas, is neat and constantly being refurbished. Bedding and towels are very good and the rooms are cleaned every day. To be honest, how many people head to London in order to spend time in a hotel room? Without a doubt the best asset of Hyde Park Towers is the location. Thirty seconds walk from the Bayswater tube station, 10 minutes from Hyde Park. Situated next to Queensway it is also close to shops, restaurants and bars. Central London and the tourist hotspots are only a couple of minutes away on the tube. We used the hotel for a 3 day break and found it an ideal base for sightseeing. Liked: Central location, Disliked: Small bathroom
