| Rated 4.5 out of 5: Hotel was clean. Breakfast was great. Easy access to Imperial rail station. Can use underground ticket to use train at no extra cost. Easy access to underground via Earls Court or Shepherds Bush. Bit out of central London but very good value for money. Great place to stay for Fulham or Chelsea fc matches. Will use hotel again. Rated 4.5 out of 5: I was very happy with this booking, its a nice part of London and a very good location. The nearest tube station is Fulham Broadway which is 10 minutes walking distance. The reception and bar are not very large and a little weary looking, however my room was really excellent and up to 4 star standard. It was a good size, exceptionally clean with an equally clean bathroom, it was tidy and well furnished with a brand new samsung tv. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep there with no noise and ideal temperature with the Air Con climate control. Rated 4 out of 5: The hotel is not in the centre but it is not far away at all. There is a train around the corner but we found the local bus very convenient. If you walk 15min, which is not much for London, you get to the 22 bus that takes you right into Piccadilly. You also have the C3 stop almost at the door, this takes you to Earl's Court in 10minutes. We took the overground that is right next to the hotel but found it a bit slow, recommended only if you have to travel with a lot of luggage. Breakfast is fine, the typical buffet with eggs, bacon, beans, etc. Rooms are basic but clean, heating is good, bathroom again basic. Its not really to spend time in the room, but there is a flat screen TV with about 20 channels...there is Internet but no WIFI in the rooms, at an extra cost which is 10 pounds for 24 hours. A bit steep. Staff is helpful and polite. We needed to check in online and they quickly did this for us, gave us the print outs, all in less than 5minutes. Asked me to check if everything was correct. Great service at no extra charge! If we go to London again I might come back here again, the price is very good compared to other places in London that are often much worse and not much more convenient than this. A Jurys Inn Chelsea guest gave the hotel 5 out of 5 and wrote: Stayed one night while waiting for a connecting flight and was pleasantly surprised. Although not centrally located, this hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from a newer Imperial Warf tube/overground stop. The only problem we found was not with the hotel itself, but trying to squeeze into the overground the next morning. It was only two cars long and packed with morning commuters. After 2 attempts we flagged a cab who took us directly to our destination (it ended up being a very affordable ride) which got us there in about the same amount of time. Not bad for morning traffic! The staff was very helpful, the bar menu was decent and the room was quite large and very clean. Would recommend and would stay again. A hotel client rated the hotel as 4 out of 5 and said: I stayed at Jury's Inn Chelsea in November 2009, I thought the hotel was good although it was in an area of London that appears more commercial than residential at present. The rooms were basic but clean, I had booked a single, the room had both a double and a single bed. The flat screen TV had a good selection of channels. The bar was OK and had a few guests in it until late. Walking around the neighbourhood I could not find anything open by night (and it didn't look like there was anything to open by day for that matter). The new Imperial Wharf overground station has just opened up, this is less than 100m from the front door of Jury's Inn (the building across the courtyard from the station entrance backs onto Jury's). Day train services were fine, evening services were patchy though, some waits were as long as 25 minutes between trains. It is only a single stop to West Brompton Station (District Line) or about 3 stops to Shepherd's Bush (Central Line). It is a zone 2 station and the London travelcard is valid on this line. Hotel was good value for simple accomodation, make sure you can live with the evening train timetable though. |
