| The K West Hotel and Spa was rated 5 out of 5 by a hotel guest: We stayed at the K West over the bank holiday weekend, we were in London to celebrate my wife's birthday with a spot of shopping and a west end show. The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival - the room was a good size with everything you would expect. I had spoken to the friendly sales staff when booking and they had arranged for the room to be decorated with balloons and rose petals to celebrate my wifes birthday which was a nice touch! The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Westfield Shopping Centre where my wife could shop til she dropped! It is a quiet location but close to the tube and an ideal spot to get into Central London. The combination of the quiet location and the huge comfy bed ensured a great nights sleep. Our only regret was not having the time to make use of the excellent spa facilities - something to do on our next visit. Would thoroughly recommend the K West a funky hotel in a quiet spot with friendly staff - thank you! Rated 4 out of 5 : The K West is a modern styled hotel tucked away in Shepherds Bush but very close to the Westfield shopping centre. The rooms are a decent size, clean with comfortable beds and good sized bathrooms. The tv has most of the sky channels you'd need unlike many hotels. The spa is great. Only downside is that the room service menu is quite limited but there's plenty of restaurants close by. Rated 4.3 out of 5 : Very Clean and well presented rooms. Common areas very clean and well maintained. Kept so despite on-going work to the main entrance which did not detract from our stay. Overall: Just one night but the hotel made our theatre visit that bit more special. Rated 5 out of 5 : We stayed for one night in order to see a show (The harder they come). The show was excellent, Loved the whole show. I felt every emotion. The singers were superb. we spent the next day shopping before returning home. I cannot fault the hotel. We were pleased with every aspect. I would definetely stay there again. The only slight snag was the fact that the nearest tube (Shepherds Bush) was closed for refurbishment so we did quite a bit of walking before being able to get on a tube to where we wanted to go. Rated 4.5 out of 5 : Initial thought on the hotel were unfortunately negative. Check in staff were rude and unhelpful when trying to explain the need to take my credit card! Was slightly annoyed that I had paid for a double room, and yet the bed was two single beds pushed together. Not what I paid for. However room was very clean and tidy, as well as very quiet. Check in staff on leaving were very friendly however and offered to keep our bags back if required. A short walk (3 mins) from Shepards Bush tube station was very handy. |
