Nice, but noisy (the railway is just below the windows)
clean rooms, great location (the tube is just around the corner)
No fridge in the room
I reccomend it for a short stay

The hotel has clearly been rennovated since many of the reviews on trip advisor were written. The rooms (or at least those I saw) are modern, well furnished with 3 to 4 star facilties. However, the rooms to the rear do suffer from tube train noise and I asked to be moved, which was possible on one night but not the other as the hotel was full. The rooms are pretty small, but ok for the price in London. One has to cross the street for breakfast as this it at the sister hotel, which isn't ideal. However, the breakfast was pretty good. The staff are friendly. Overall, the hotel feels a cut price option to a 4 star, however if you are paying less than not a bad choice for tourists etc as the location is good

Liked: small, but nicely furnished and well equipped
Disliked: dust in the air-conditioning, the noise of nearby passing tube trains could be heard throughout day and night

I can honestly say that this was overall the very best value for money I have ever had in London. The room was as described " recently refurbished" and also comparitively small, is was spotless, everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The only slight hiccup was that the young lady receptionist had difficulty in locating a room as the previous occupier had overstayed their stay. Her inexperience was due to the fact that it was her first day. Frankly I blame the Management for lack of training and supervision. So it was not her fault in my opinion.
