| Rated 3 out of 5 : We booked King Solomon for one night because it was the cheapest we could find. Bearing this in mind, I was impressed. It was clean and comfortable. Small, but FINE. Breakfast was included (always a winner in my book), there's free parking and the staff were friendly. My one complaint: you can hear everyone moving around, all the time...which can be irritating. All in all I think it is important to remember that in life you get what you pay for! If you want better, pay more :) Rated 3 out of 5 : Value for Money, free parking, good location for access to London attractions, easy access driving down from the North Shower had some staining or mould in the grout between tiles, but otherwise clean and functional. Breakfast of cold tuna with sliced tomato and cucumber, cold boiled eggs seemed strange to me. However cereals and milk, toast and choice of jam were also available. Rated 3.2 out of 5 : The hotel was in the right location for us, not far from the Golders Green underground station and restaurants. There was plenty of parking. Check-in was simple and quick and overall there was no fuss. The clean room was everything we needed for a weekend break. The hotel was quite noisy at night, being on a main street in London. Breakfast was very basic and the restaurant seating was quite congested, staff and customers having to push between seated breakfasters. Diluted squash was used rather than fruit juice. Rated 3.5 out of 5 : It is good location near Golders Green, and for the price we paid, we are happy and while reasonably basic, it is clean, friendly and pleasant staff, making our stay comfortable. No complaints at all, and only one thing you should note about this - check-out is at 10:00am, even on a Sunday, which did raise my eyebrow a wee bit! Overall happy with this hotel |
