| Rated 3.5 out of 5 : The hotel was clean and the staff really friendly. We arrived a little early, and they sorted our room out very quickly. Only thing that I would say let it down, was the size of the bedroom. It was absolutely tiny and extremely hot. I think we were above the boiler!! Rated 4 out of 5 : We stayed for two nights Sat/Sun. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but looked like it was fairly new and modern.Only a bath towel for each person is supplied but they were clean and fluffy and where changed for the second day which we didn't expect. TV in the room coffee and tea also supplied. Breakfast was good, coffee/tea fruit juice cereal toast boiled eggs yougart fruit. There is a little railway noise as our room backed onto the railway but, we slept well. I would definately use the hotel again. I was a little worried after reading the review done in May but, our experience of the hotel was not the same. |

| Rating out of 10: 10 Date stayed: February 2006 review: I stay here every year for 26 days whilst working in the area. The hotel is excellent. Very clean very friendly staff and close to all amenities. Rating out of 10: 6 Date stayed: August 2006 review: I was sceptical about staying at this hotel but was pleasantly surprised. It is good value for money, staff are friendly. The only bad points are that it is not very sound proof, you can hear a few trains going past but otherwise very clean. All the basics are provided for. The bed was comfortable and was not very big for a double. I would however go back there again. Rating out of 10: 5 Date stayed: April 2005 review: We had room 203 wich was far too small. Bed was very hard (we could feel the springs) and too small for 2 people. We had a noisy night since guests of room 204 came in very late, smashed with doors, and had a party in their room till 3am. breakfast was very good, people also. We had excellent service. |
