Rated 3.8 out of 5 :
Front office staff were efficient and very helpful in arranging airport taxi pickups, tour info, directions Location was good, 2 blocks to Hyde Park, tube and all major bus routes. Easy connection to Paddington Station for rail service. Continental breakfast was adequate. Good security system and lockers for valuables under camera in front office. Clean towels and beds made up daily.
As with other comments the rooms are small and lack storage space

Rated 3.5 out of 5 :
I needed a single room but was a little anxious after reading some of the reviews about their size so I booked a twin room (en-suite) for the same price and was pleasantly surprised. The room was basic, lacked some storage facilities and the bathroom was very small but was adequate for myself as I was working only a few hundred yards away. Fairly good value for money based on the room I was in. Breakfast is eaten in the room.

I stayed here for one night on the 1st of Feb 2011 and I definitely recommend it. I was a bit paranoid after reading some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised.
The room was immaculately clean, with fresh bed linen and its own wee fridge! The bathroom was small, but this didn't bother me at all, I was just so happy we had our own facilities and didn't have to share!
The reception staff we met were polite and helpful, always a plus and not always the case in London hotels I've stayed at before.
I found the bed to be very comfy and slept really well. The room overlooked the street but other than a couple of police sirens the noise from traffic wasn't bad at all.
The hotel is in a great location.
I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget room. If you're not fussed with fancy details and are looking for a clean, comfortable room, then definitely try here.
The only issue I had was that when we checked in the receptionist explained that there was the possibility that the curtains might be removed from our room, while we were out. This wasn't an issue, but we wondered why on earth this would be done. When we returned from our evening out the curtains HAD been removed, left only with the net curtain covering the window. Very unusual thing to do, but confused us more than annoyed us.
