| Rated 4 out of 5 : Used the park and fly package to go on vacation at Christmas - was upgraded on arrival to a junior suite which was lovely - all amenities up to Marriotts usual high standards. However we found ourselves having to drive out for evening meal as teh hotel restaurants were really really overpriced. It was a case of them having you there so they knew you had no choice. Overall the accomaodation, swimming pool and sauna were of a great standard and it did for what we were looking for at a great price. Next time though I will take sandwiches to eat in the evening as I do not want to pay ?14 for a hamburger. Rated 4 out of 5 : We normally stay at the Heathrow Marriott or Renaissance hotel when flying out of Heathrow. Booked the Heathrow/Windsor through the Marriott website and got a superb rate for room and car parking. The hotel is a typical Marriott, so you know what you are getting for your money. No trouble finding hotel - just off M4 one junction west of M25. Check in staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. We did not eat at the Hotel, but made use a a "Carvery" just across the road. Hotel hoppa bus runs every 30 minutes and tokk us 20 mins to get to Terminal 3, cost ?4. My only complaint is the cost of using the internet if you simply want to check in online for your flight. Much cheaper than other hotels nearer the airport and good quality, so we'll definately be back in the future. Rated 4 out of 5 : We stayed here for one night prior to our flights from London Heathrow to JFK. Combining parking at the hotel whilst away on holiday and a night accommodation proir to our flight was a great move. The hotel was clean, tidy, the rooms spacious well stocked, quiet and comfortable. A great meal was had in the hotel restaurant and an undisturbed nights sleep was had by all. The hoppa bus transfer to Heathrow terminals stops right outide the front door of the hotel in the carpark. Would stay here again without a doubt. Couldn't have been better. Rated 4.1 out of 5 : The well appointed and spacious room ,Easy access to and from foyer and room, The assistance of hotel staff. Its location vis a vie Heathrow airport Rated 5 out of 5 : Used as a stop over after a holiday in Singapore before travelling home by train. The mini bar was extremely expensive ?2:50 per can of pepsi. Breakfast very good, rooms very comfortable, staff very helpful. Great good value local pub - The Pheasant for meals only 5 min walk away. Rated 3.5 out of 5 : Whilst the hotel reception and rooms were clean with adequate facilities, the fact that there is no restaurant is a major issue. There is a very small bar, but it took on average 4 to 5 minutes wait before someone attended the bar to serve you. you pay extra for parking. Your food is out of a plastic pack that you warm up yourself in a microwave! I will not stay there again. |
