| Rated 5 out of 5: Stayed here last year for the first time when the regents park mariott was booked up for a wedding. We stay at Marriotts as they offer a decent level of service for a decent price and Maida Vale is no different. The rooms in Maida Vale are a good size, clean & comfortable. The beds are big & comfy with a range of different size & density pillows! Bathroom has shower & bath and is clean & tidy & not too small - something that cannot always be the case. Also there is a fridge in the room, not a minibar other hoteliers should take note as this is a really good thing! Maida Vale is in a great location, being relatively quiet with good transport links on the bakerloo line as well as a bus stop very nearby. My only issue with this hotel is that the windows are bolted shut (for our safety apparantly!). Other than that, great value and the staf never fail to say hello but leave you alone otherwise, which is just how I like it! Rated 4 out of 5: Stayed 2 nights here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, had all amenities we needed (even a fridge!) and hotel was in a nice location. Quick walk to tube stop, groceries & toiletries up the street as well. Bed was awesome - very comfortable. Only con was that the ice maker on our floor did not work. Rated 4.7 out of 5: I quite enjoyed my stay at Marriot. All the amenities are in top shape. Rated 3.5 out of 5: Hotel full, hotel had only one room when i booked two. No problems as staff upgraded both of us to suites with no fuss at all. Rooms excellent. Staff efficient and affable. A Marriott Maida Vale guest gave the hotel 4 out of 5 and said: Just had a weekend in London and stayed at this hotel, from the moment we arrived all the staff were friendly, courtious and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds one of the comfiest hotel beds I have ever stayed in. The breakfast had loads of choice and really set us up for the day sightseeing. The hotel is out of the main tourist areas of London but the tube and overground link has you in central London within about 10mins and is so easy to use. There are also pubs and restraunts on Kilburn High Road if you dont want to eat in the hotel. We has a lovely meal in Fratelli's on the Saturday night and its was heaven to have a nice place to eat on site as my legs would not do any more walking after a full day sightseeing, also bar Hermia is a good place to sit and relax with a drink. All in all a great place to stay. Rated 5 out of 5: I stayed here for 4 nights, a long business trip. I chose this hotel as I had used it privately a couple of years ago for a family short break so knew it was good. Excellent hotel, well run and staff are really attentive and clearly well trained. Room was lovely with good sized bathroom and very clean Breakfats was eficient and of high standard. Did one evening meal which again was very good. Did a bar meal too, good also. Location may not be ideal for many but if you plan it right its easy to get to most places. I used the buses alot and they are easy to use and close by. Would definetely stay here again, my colleagues stayed else where and regretted it! Rated 5 out of 5: I quite enjoyed my stay at Marriot. All the amenities are in top shape. Rated 5 out of 5: Really good, hotel great, staff so calm and friendly, especially the concierges. |
