Arrived at midday and were allowed to check in (check in not normally til 3) which was very much appreciated. Great room with nice view. Comfortable (and very large) bed and clean, functional and modern bathroom. Plenty of space for our needs.
We were assisted in getting reduced price London Eye tickets by Toru (I think he was assistant head concierge). He had a look on the internet for us and managed to get 2 for 1 tickets if we presented our national rail tickets. He was ever so polite and really helpful (as were all the staff) but special thanks to him.
Really have no complaints - good price for a London hotel; we found it well placed (we came down to see Billy Elliot (brilliant show) at Victoria Palace and had no probs getting there or back.) It was very clean and up to date and the service was fabulous. We didn't eat at the hotel but judging by the standard set for accommodation, dining should be great too.

I've stayed only one night during my trip to London. I actually enjoyed staying there and would come back again.
Location is really good and easy to find. It's just minutes from Canary Wharf, so in the heart of business area there. There is off-site parking and it is quite pricey pleasure (up to 2h - 4 GBP, up to 24h - 18 GBP). Parking is just a minute from main hotel entrance.
I had booked a Superior Double Room. Room was spacious and comfortable. Enough space for yourself, baggage and your work. Very "Marriott style" decorations (as a 'plus' of course). Comfortable King Size bed with selection of different pillows. I think that was nice to find 'welcome chocolate', some magazines, 2 apples and... small plant (which is recently very unusual, but I loved that). Room was equipped with TV, alarm radio, telephone, great lighting, iron board with an iron, safety deposit box and fridge with pre-paid automated machine. There was as well coffee/tea maker with good selection.
Bathroom was just great, equiped with bath (and shower there), warmed mirror. Toiletries selection was good.
Internet prices were just crazy. Far to high. So sorry.
Staff was helpful and professional. Nice hotel and I would probably stay there again.

Liked: Staff very polite and put customers first at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms very comfortable. We pre ordered Breakfast in the room for 9am. Breakfast arrived at 9am on the dot!!!.
Overall: Well worth the stay, would recommend

This is a super 5 star hotel, beds are so comfortable though room was in need of sprucing. Everyone was very attentive- great choice at breakfast, they even serve banana pancakes 20 minutes after closing time- with a genuine smile! Chef was fantastic! I did not like being kept waiting to be served- no waitress came over to where we sat so I walked up to the bar to ask. The barman completely ignored me instead of perhaps telling me to 'take a seat as a waitress will be with me asap'. I was not pleased at all with this, however once I made my displeasure known to a waitress she was brill!.

This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel and were not disappointed, I wish we had been able to stay longer, maybe next time. We were offered (and accepted) a free upgrade to an executive room which gave us a liitle more space. The beds and pillows are the most comfortable I have slept in when away from home. Cleanliness is superb we will definitely return

Date stayed: April 2006
review: The bed was the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in!!!!!

The breakfast was a multiple choice and there was something for everyone and it all tasted so good, and the staff were very attentive.

It was only seconds from the London Dock Railway which was included in the price of an underground ticket.

All in all I would give this hotel 10 out of 10.
