| Rated 4 out of 5 : This hotel was well recommended by friends, of whom stayed at the hotel a few months ago during the Octoberperiod. As me and my partner was on a visit to London for leisure, we were told this hotel was the best suited for us. The hotel is located in a hot spot with everything you need just a few a few minutes walk. The hotel is just opposite the Gloucester rd tube station with cafes and restaurants running along the road. There is nothing better than having a hot cappacino at Starbucks, when just arriving to London. The staff greeted us and were friendly throughtout our stay. They helped us considerably about how we should plan our stay as we only had four days and we wanted to visit and see the fast, exciting life of London. The room we had was located on the third floor facing the front, with a nice view overlooking view of Gloucester rd. The room was very clean and spacious and very warming. There was free wi-fi was which is extremely important for me as a working employer in a business to check my emails daily, so a fast wi-fi connection was provided. We booked a 2 day bus tour at the reception as it was well recommended for our stay and it lasted 48 hours and the bus visited all the historical places in London. We saw and went on the London Eye as hat was on our must-do list, which we enjoyed as it was a new experince. The tour also included a river cruise to Greenwich and a pub lunch, which was really good. We also wanted to go shopping as its every girls best hobby and interest. We were told to go to a shopping centre called Westfields, which is one of the biggest shooping centre in the whole of Europe. Westfields was only located a 20 minutes bus journey from the hotel. When we came back, we were just struggling to hold all the bags together as it was a shopping worthwhile. Overall, the customer service was really good as there was help available at all times. The staff were very friendly and polite at all times and we shall be accomadating in the hotel in the nearby future as it was a very pleasant stay. I would recommmend this hotel to friends and family without a doubt as its in a perfect location with great value for money. Rated 4 out of 5 : We spent a full week at the Montana and it's a great spot for exploring all of Londons must see attractions. There's a tube station less than 100m away, plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs close by. Walking distance to Royal Albert Hall and The Museum of Natural History. Our room was small, clean and comfortable. En-suite bathroom was tiny but this wasn't an issue for us. OK breakfast, good & free wi-fi. The Montana is a good value 3 star hotel so if you're looking for luxurious, spacious 5 star accommodations at a 3 star price then this isnt the place but we'd definitely return. Rated 3 out of 5 : hotel looks really nice outside. We were only about 15 minutes early for check-in but our room wasn't really and we were asked to come back at 2 pm although check-in time was supposed to be 1 pm according to our confirmation from Hotel.com After waiting at the lobby (using wifi) for about half an hour, the room was ready. Our reception didn't look so welcoming. He wasn't rude but not too friendly either. Elevator was very small and slow but sufficient for moving our luggages. Other times we just walked the stairs. Wifi wasn't working in the room so we could only use it when in the lobby. Breakfast was adequate Rated 4 out of 5 : Liked: Clean, Friendly, Convenient and Good Value for Money Disliked: It's a little pokier than the photos would suggest. Don't try and enter the lift with anyone else - ot even a bag! Overall: Perfect hotel for a one-night stay |
