| Rated 4.8 out of 5 : Staff devotion to service. Cleaning staff, excellent and very responsive to requests. Desk staff most obliging and helpful on all matters. Stellar service actually Good clean hotel in an excellent location. Excellent value. Liked free wireless....it is why I chose this hotel within the Bloomsbury area. Wireless was reliable and had sufficient speed. This is the hotel I will stay at when I come to London again.... close to all West End theatres, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, shopping on Oxford and Bond streets, next door to the British Museum, good service to the Westminster Abbey area. I might have reserved a slightly larger room, given the length of time I was staying. The wall connection for the television and/or the connection to the TV itself kept falling out and disconnecting. It was disappointing to find that the subway stop on Bloomsbury closest to the hotel was no longer operating. But the bus system proved adequate to cover this. Rated 4 out of 5 : We stayed at this hotel after recommendations. We loved it. The staff were very accomodating and helpful. We were able to use the shower room in the morning before checkin and our bags were taken to our room whilst we were out. Room was lovely with huge and comfy bed, good continental breakfast in the morning. Would stay there again. Rated 4 out of 5 : My new wife and I were married and looking to spend a night in town. We enjoyed the stay - the bathroom was clean and a nice place to relax. The room felt a little small, but it was good enough. The radio on the CD player didn't work and you had to pay to listen to the radio via the tv. We weren't able to book a room directly with the hotel, which we would have preferred, as they were fully booked, so we paid a little more to go via a holiday website. The only minor disappointment with this was that we would probably have paid a little more directly with the hotel to have one of their treat options, which wasn't available via the site we went through. It was a nice stay and very enjoyable. Rated 3 out of 5 : The hotel's looks have been carefully though out by an interior designer. When I visited 10 years ago, its signature feng shui look was all the rage. Today, it still looks stylish, but the shine has worn off a bit. Their once exceptional service is still good, but not as carefree as it used to be. Some nice touches, like the quiet library with free water, tea and fruit and the free wifi are much appreciate when you're unwinding from a hard day. If you get a good price on a room here, this hotel is a very interesting option. Located right next to the Tottenham Court Road tube station, you could hardly be more central. At their regular rates, the (really small) rooms feel a little overpriced. Rated 4 out of 5 : I liked being walking distance to soho, I liked the size of my room and I liked the library very much. Rated 4.5 out of 5 : Had a great short stay in London. The hotel was very contemporary. The room was very pleasant with all required facilities and a lovely comfortable bed.The continental breakfast was wonderful and the staff extremely polite and helpful. Rated 3.5 out of 5 : Great location the hotel is tidy and clean. the rooms are large (for london) but could have done witha bit of modernising to bring up to date. didn't sample food but is very expensive especially the breakfast! (but apparently very nice!!) this is a must stay in hotel for staying in the center of london. apart from that no complaints good hotel |
