NAME CHANGE TO NOVOTEL ST PANCRAS 2007
Rating out of 10: 4

review: Very disappointed by this hotel. I had asked them before booking how much internet access costs and was told it's free but got a different story when I got there - GBP8 per hour or GBP15 per 24 hour; I really had to fight and prove that I was given wrong information (luckily I had the email they sent me at the time); I didn't get any apologies and staff were even quite rude. Apart from that, the room was on Euston Road and that street is so noisy I didn't sleep well at all.
For a 4 star hotel I was expecting a much more pleasant stay.

review: A very pleasant two night stay, the positives were that the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms pleasant and comfortable, fantastic views from the glassed lift and the 12 O'clock check out made for a more relaxed departure as opposed to the normal rushed 10 o'clock throw out.
I would be picky if I listed the few negatives and as they were so minimal I will let you experienc a most pleasant London experience.

review: Stayed here when the Thistle hotel, Barbican relocated us after their window broke and caused injury. Arrived close to 3am but treated with respect and courtesy - quiet room despite major road, free bottled water, great breakfast, staff call you a taxi. Will stay there again.

review: I stayed there before it was a Novotel. My room was on the top floor and had impressive views over the City. If you can request a room, request the top floor facing the road. You can't hear the traffic on the road as all the windows are double glazed and you are quite high up.
But the view we had, it included, Canary Wharf to the left, the London Eye, St Pauls Cathedral, House of Parliament and others.
I would go back to that room again.
