My husband and I stayed here for 10 nights. The hotel is located just two minutes from Tower Hill tube station - very easy access for day travel around London. The hop on hop off bus tickets and other tourist attractions can be purchased from the front reception - the hop on hop off bus is just minutes from the hotel and located across the road on the Tower Bridge and metres from Tower of London.
We stayed in a room located on the 7th floor with direct views of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Spacious rooms with a two seat sofa bed that can be used for extra persons. The facilities in the room are very modern and clean. Free internet down in the lobby is very useful. The staff here are extremely friendly and professional. We have enjoyed our stay here and would recommend anyone thinking of coming to London to seek this hotel. Breakfast is buffet and covers the basics - very fresh and delicious food.

Lovely staff who were warm with their welcome, polite and efficient. Said the view was not that good but we had an unobstructed view of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge! Room was small but perfectly formed, very clean. So close to the tube, so convenient and yet quiet. Great to have separate bath and shower. More money than I usually spend but will recommend and visit again

This was a short theatre break in London to see dirty dancing which was amazing! a must see for all. Novotel at tower bridge exceeded our expectations in almost all respects. We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms which had a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom facilities with a large walk-in shower. There were only two issues for us: 1) as the hotel is still undergoing a major refurbishment, builders were at work, hammering away at 9 am on Saturday morning- we did not get the lie in we were looking forward to! 2) location- although the location in itself was great/safe (near tower bridge), it felt a bit far away from oxford street, marble arch etc. Where we wanted to do some shopping.

The main problems we found in relation to the staff was the difference in languages. When we booked into the hotel we tried to ask the gentleman on reception whether it would be possible for us to book breakfast however he spoke very little English and didn't understand me and unfortunately I could not understand him. We therefore ended up going elsewhere. I also asked the a different receptionist how much a taxi would cost from the hotel to the West End again she failed to understand me. We booked the Novotel Tower Bridge as we had recently stayed at a Novotel in Leeds which we were extremely impressed with. Unfortunately our room was a little run down, the light shades were cracked, the carpet had effectively been pieced together and there were also stains on the carpet. I felt this was a real shame given the positive experience we had at the Novotel in Leeds.

Location is excellent, staff helpful and nice, full breakfast- very good shower and toilet nice-renovated
The room was not clean ,the elevator reaches the third floor so we had to climb one floor with the baggage

Strategic location is the best appraisal for this hotel

We stayed at the Novotel Tower Bridge as it was a great location to meet our Jack the Ripper tour at Aldgate tube station. Hotel was in a excellent location 2 mins walk from the Tower of London lovely new clean rooms and staff were helpful and dinner in hotel was reasonably priced.

Rated 4.5 out of 5:
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Novotel London Tower Bridge. It is ideally situated for visiting many tourist sites with Tower of London and Tower Bridge on your doorstep. There are nice eateries on both sides of the river including Butlers wharf and St Katherine docks. It is easy to get to the centre of London from Tower Hill tube station. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Having stayed at Novotel before we were aware of standards to expect. We like the modern decor and the bar area was relaxing. Prices are expensive but probably the going rate for central London.

Rated 4 out of 5:
Very well situated relative to the Tube and the sights around Tower of London. Very limited access to varied places to eat, specially with a small child. No food store nearby. Nice room, but noisy due to nearby construction (throughout the night). No problem with a closed window, but if you want fresh air

Date stayed: August 2004
review: I recently stayed at the Novotel, London Bridge with my Parents and also my Husband and 2 children, aged 4 and 1.
I found the hotel to be extremely good value for money. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
They were very 'child friendly' and the rooms were all 'sound proof' which meant no one could here my 1 year old crying the house down at 5.30am! The hotel staff gladly catered for my every request and need.
The hotel was clean and the rooms were very comfortable.
The breakfast was super, with a huge variety of choice.
The hotel is only a 2 minute walk away from Tower Hill tube station and is ideally situated for all the main London attractions.
I would not only recommend this hotel to others, but would also have no hesitation in staying here again.
