The location is excellent. Yes the rooms are small, but we found the staff friendly and pleasant. We came down from Yorkshire and have stayed in many hotels up north, but have never had such awful coffee or watered down orange juice, but think this maybe normal for London hotels of this price ! The most annoying thing was that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, and we were told no room service, even though there was a price list up in reception. The bonus was that it was very quiet, no disturbances.

Found the hotel to be true to the reviews. Staff was not very friendly, but not overly rude. Room was clean but VERY small. Barely wide enough for the bed and door to the bathroom could only open about halfway before hitting the bed. Still, we were sight-seeing all day, so room was only for sleeping. Loved the location near Paddington station and this was the best part of the hotel. The surrounding neighbourhood is nice as well with a pleasant atmosphere and shops and restaurants. If looking for a safe, clean room at a good price I would recommend Olympic House.

review: Very good value for money. perfect location! near everywhere, great price, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Helps that breakfast is included in price. Small room didn't bother me. I recommend this place!
