room was amazing - roomy, well equipped, decor fantastic, beds comfortable, shower cubicle in bathroom makes such a difference - staff very helpful - wow factor as you enter the hotel and again when you enter your room - even the lifts deserve a mention
Disliked: when I booked the room the website said "upgrade, if available and free bottle of wine if booked before 21 May" also bottled water was included in my booking. No bottled water was made available until I asked, after I pointed it out from my booking confirmation, and then I got 1 bottle with 1 glass - it was so much hassle that I just brought my own bottled water in (and when I checked out I was charged for the bottle of water I had from the hotel). The free bottle of wine did not happen - when I asked at reception about the room upgrade and free bottle of wine I was told that we had an upgrade but there was no reference to a bottle of wine (unfortunately the booking confirmation did not mention upgrade or bottle of wine!!!!!!)
Overall: Fantastic hotel - really good time

from arrival to departure we met only charming and well trained staff. All very keen to serve and provide excellent service. The hotel is new and only opened a few weeks and we expected less than perfection but we were overwhelmed by the complete opposite. It is truly a beautiful, well located hotel which will be our new home in London!! Brilliant!

Excellent service - given good advice by hotel staff on the room and hotel. - Stylish lobby and room interior with flat screen TV, large bath and separate shower. - A strong point of the hotel is its location - absolutely perfect - 2mins to the London Eye and Houses of Parliament/ Big Ben. Has Westminster and Waterloo tube stations both within 10mins walk! Made this hotel a great exploration base as well as being on the doorstep of some of London's finest buildings and tourist attractions. Bad points of the hotel: - We were not happy that the highest lighting we could get in the room still seemed to leave the room quite dimly lit. Also, the lighting system was very difficult to use properly - it needs to be made simpler and the lighting needs to be brighter. - The pillows were too soft and this did mean I did not have the best nights sleep. - Occasionally we would get the smell of sewerage in the bathroom - this issue needs to be addressed. All in all we were extremely pleased with this hotel. With these issues addressed the hotel would be a fantastic hotel in an excellent location!
