A guest who stayed at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel rated the accommodation 5 out of 5 :
I booked this hotel as I spent 3 days in London with my tennage son and therefore needed somewhere central but with a pool as well. The location whilst just over Chelsea Bridge provided easy access to Chelsea and also Victoria (Bus 137 or 44 both outside the door). The hotel was superb (and I have stayed in a number of hotels on business over the years). After reading other reviews, I requested a room on the courtyard side just to be safe (trainline on the other side) and was more than happy with the standard and quality of the room (Room 220). The pool and spa facilites were of a high quality and the staff more than eager to help. The room rate was excellent for Central London at £99 for the room (Booking.com) but breakfast was not included and at £38 for the 2 of us felt expensive, especially as tennage boys can sometimes pick at food (sorted breakfast out independently). Battersea park is just over the road so nice to get out of the bustle of London. Have no complaints and would strongly recommend hotel.

Rated 4 out of 5 :
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It almost deserves to be a five star. Having stayed at some shoebox sized 4 star London hotel rooms, the rooms here are very spacious with a good sized bed, well equipped bathroom, plenty of drawers and wardrobe space, largish flat screen TV and even a reclining sofa plus plenty of room to move about. The hotel is decorated in a very modern style and the rooms are spotlessly clean. For somewhere next to the river, a bridge over the Thames and residential accommodation, it is also very quiet. I did have a double booking problem. When I opened my room door, there was already a lady in there which could have been extremely embarrassing. The hotel was very apologetic and fixed the problem immediately. it did seem to me that there were some teething troubles with booking as I had quite a long wait and some of the staff seemed to run into problems and called their supervisor. The location could be a problem if you are not very fit or not used to walking. It's quite a distance from Victoria Station and there is no nearby tube, but that makes no odds to me as I am a brisk walker and will happily walk miles. I should mention the gym and sauna are free, although other treatments have to be paid for. I was quite surprised at this as I had booked via an agency and so thought I would get a "no frills" option. All in all a very good choice, especially if you are coming in and leaving from Victoria Station or doing business in that area.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 :
Very clean rooms and also a good size. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely pool and facilities.
Disliked: I found the breakfast a little pricey, but apart from that there where no bad points.
Overall: We both enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We have a very relaxing time.

Rated 5 out of 5 :
Booked as a 70th birthday break for mum. Excellent hotel, brand new and clean, beautifully presented rooms, great customer service at a competitive price. Convenient for Victoria station and good bus links. Would definitely go back. Champagne trip on the London eye was a great experience and worth the extra. Dancing in Billy Elliot was beyond expectations. Oliver the musical was even better. Great trip to Greenwich on the river- college and maritime museum really interesting will definitely go back to explore more, especially the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 :
Hotel was very easy to find and within walking distance and sensible taxi charges applied. We found the hotel very clean and our room contained an extremely good level of equipement, eg, LCD screens, i-pod docking station, expresso maker etc. TV didn't work in bathroom and we were offered a switch of room but we declined. Hotel staff where very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Highly recommended hotel and have already told friends about the amazing views from the 11th floor! Next time we aim to arrive sooner than 5pm so we are able to use the spa facilities and enjoy the bar area more.
