Staff were helpful, breakfast was very good and room well equipped for short stay.
Lack of light and no razor point.

A former Guest rated the accommodation 5 our of 5 and wrote:
stayed two nights using as a base to explore surrounding attractions, e.g. St. albans, Hatfield House etc. Despite being a stones throw from busy M1 motorway, room very quiet and very comfortable. Good choice of breakfast included in price. Limited view from room at rear of hotel but saw lots of rabbits grazing outside our window! Reception staff very helpful with directions to local attractions and very friendly. Power shower great but no bath and small bathroom like most of the other holiday inn expresses we have stayed at. Nice modern decor and comfortable beds, but no pillow menu like you get with holiday inns. Would stay here again.

review: I would like to say a huge thankyou to the two men who were working at the named hotel on the 4th/5th july, me and my disabled mum had broken down on the M1 and had been recovered to the car park area of the hotel, it was getting on for midnight and the 2 members of staff kindly came to us and asked if we was ok as we was standing by the car as the restuarant was closed,they told us we could use the facilities in the the hotel this was agreat help as we waited til approx 1am....A HUGE THANKYOU FROM US BOTH...... Gary
