This was a typical 60's or 70's motel, but has been refitted.
Stayed a number of times whilst travelling in the South East.
The rooms have great beds with nice duvets, bathrooms are clean modern and have good hot showers.
Rooms aren't big and basic. but the comfort level and cleanliness is great.
Staff on front desk have always been very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
B&B's better watch out.

Have stayed at several Premier Inns and always found them good value for money and the South Mimms hotel was no exception. Room have been refurbished as promised in the earlier management reply and are clean, smart and cater for the basic needs, towels, cosmetics, TV, extra pillows, A/C etc.
Only query, we stayed on a Saturday night (14/8) and our room was a long long way from reception and I can only presume all the rooms between reception and ours were occupied.
That said staff helpful and very friendly and it was no problem to check out later even though the time stated was 12 md.
