Rated 4 out of 5:
We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Premier Inn Southwark, the hotel its self was fine. Check in was straight forward, and the receptionist was polite and friendly. Our room was fine, very clean and the travel cot was fine for the baby.
The only problem I would like to point out with the hotel was the bar next door where breakfast was served. The Anchor only has one high chair, during our visist there was at least five families that we saw travelling with babies that required a highchair. It was very difficult to try to have breakfast while holding a ten month old baby.
Other than that the hotel is fine and we would stay there again

rated 4.4 out of 5:
Direct access to the adjoining Thames waterfront Pub/Restaurant greatly enhanced the experience - I do like to be able to view the river traffic. The only minor disappointment was the full English breafast cooked items in the tureens were not piping hot, and the plates for them were cold. Overall: A very comfortable stay, and an excellent base from which to walk to a lot of South Bank attractions, and even St Pauls Cathedral. (108114836)

A Premier Inn Southwark guest said the hotel rated 5 out of 5 explaining:

My husband, 10 year old son and i stayed for 3 nights in August. We chose it on the strength of reviews on here! It lived up to its reputation. Super location. The South bank and all its attraction's was two seconds away from the hotel. The tube was five minutes walk. The check in was quick and easy. Also very friendly for London. Room was super. We did ask to change after the first night as my son found the sofa bed very uncomfortable. This was done with no fuss at all. The room was clean, quiet and more than adequate. We did have breakfast each morning. It was lovely. Set us all up for the day. The staff in the breakfast room, were all so kind and friendly. On checking out, leaving our luggage was so easy. We had such a good break and cant wait to stay again.
