| Rated 4.5 out of 5 : The room was very good. The only problem was that part of the corridor had a strong smell of curry, whilst his did not have any impact on the room itself, it was very strong when going to and from the room. Rated 5 out of 5 : Great location. Close to underground. Good range of local shops and facilities. Best of all, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Read more Rated 3.5 out of 5 : Good location, lots restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Could have happy used this as my base in London for a week instead of one night. Please note: road works immediately outside the hotel but no-one working between the time I arrived (9pm) and left (9am). Rated 4.5 out of 5 : Extremely helpful Staff, central location in Noting hill close to the Tube, simple elegant clean apartment. Rated 4 out of 5 : It has been like staying in your own flat. There is a lot of privacy and freedom. Rated 4.6 out of 5 : A clean hotel with cooking facilities and en-suite bathroom. The rooms were warm and a DVD and TV were also available. In the centre of Queensway a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I thought a charge for an additional cot was unfair, I mean baby cot not an additional bed, though the charges were highlighted before arrival. The kitchen also need more work space and a drying rack for the dishes. These adjustments would have made a great stay a perfect stay. Rated 5 out of 5 : A great find in a central location. I got upgraded to a one bedroom apartment so had lot of space. In a quiet position in Notting Hill but just 5 mins from the main high street. Only problem for me was the cost of internet connection. This was a business expense, but I always try to find accommodation which offers free wi-fi which this didn't. Apart from that I enjoyed my stay. Rated 4 out of 5 : I am often in the Notting Hill area on business, and like to have a place where I can cook for myself and spread out a bit. I found Bridgestreet Worldwide to be well located, and quite convenient to both Queensway and Bayswater tubes. Queensway high street is just steps away for necessities (bank, food shopping, toiletries, etc). You've also got Whiteley's shopping mall down the block. FYI restaurants on Queensway are generally mediocre to tragic, so I'd avoid them. As for the accommodations, I had a 1 bedroom, which worked well for 2 people. (I was originally in a studio, which was way too small) Bathroom was basic but fine. Shower was decent. Bed was just ok. Not terribly comfortable but certainly not horrible. General amenities were basic but acceptable. Internet service was not free, which was frustrating. It's also wired. A bit of a pain. But it does work fairly well. (It's supplied by a third party service, which was quite helpful on the phone.) Kitchenette was ok for very basic stuff. No room to really cook. But fine to make breakfast and possibly cook something very simple or heat up take out from Waitrose or M&S. (both within walking distance). The fridge is tiny. The real plus was the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind. Overall a decent value for the money, Just don't expect anything too grand and you won't be disappointed. I prefer Bridgestreet to Grand Plaza across the street. The accommodations aren't any nicer, but the staff makes a huge difference. |
