| Rated 4 out of 5: Staff were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, Good location, quiet side street but not far from central London, good value with breakfast and internet, included. Glad I picked this hotel from other's comments, would stay again. Rated 4.5 out of 5: We used to live in West Hampstead and are familiar with the area that this hotel is located in. I always use laterooms to book a hotel in Hampstead and this hotel is always full for our trips to London - I can see why!! Excellent value for money in great location. Rooms were tidy and clean and en suite bathroom cleaner and better than some recent 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Staff very attentive and food was excellent - better scrambled eggs here than at home... Rated 4 out of 5: I stayed in this hotel twice - once for 10 days and then week. The experience has been great. Very clean, tidy and good breakfast. Located near Finchley Road underground and O2 shopping mall, this is best hotel you can stay in London if you care about budget. |
| Rating out of 10: 3 Date stayed: March 2005 review: BOOKED VIA HOTEL`S WEB SITE AND SITE CLEARLY STATED FREE BREAKFAST. IMAGINE MY SURPRISE FOLLOWING MORNING WHEN I WAS ASKED TO PAY £17.85 FOR THREE BREAKFASTS AS I DIDN`T HAVE A VOUCHER FOR BREAKFAST. AFTER ARGUMENT CHARGED BREAKFAST TO MY ACCOUNT AND COMPLAINED ON MY RETURN HOME. EXCUSE WAS THAT WHEN I BOOKED SITE DIDN`T PUT FREE BREAKFAST OFFER ON UNTIL 14/3/05, IF SO WHY DID I COMPLAIN ON 10/3/05! FOUND HOTEL TO BE SHABBY AND STAFF RUDE AND ARROGANT. WEBSITES SAY HOTEL RECENTLY REFURBISHED BUT BATHROOM WAS OF A POOR STANDARD WITH THE TOILET SEAT FALLING OFF TOILET AND TOILET ROLL OUT OF REACH AT OPPOSITE SIDE OF BATHROOM TOTALLY UNIMPRESSED WITH HOTEL AND CUSTOMER SERVICES HANDLING OF MY COMPLAINT ONLY GAVE A THREE BECAUSE THE ENGLISH BREAKFAST WAS RATHER GOOD. BOOKED INTO THE EXPRESS HOLIDAY INN ON FINCHLEY RD(JUST AROUND THE CORNER)BEFORE I HAD STAYED ONE NIGHT. AND WOULD ADVISE ANYONE ELSE TO DO THE SAME |
