NAME CHANGE TO CROWNE PLAZA GATWICK CRAWLEY IN OCTOBER 2007
(major refurbishment and extensions and can be thought of as a totally new hotel since the below reviews)

review: booked into the hotel just before going on our honeymoon, we were very disappointed. We were told by the receptionist that we had to pay 50 pounds depoist in case we break something!! There were no tea or coffee making equipment. We were woken at 7.30am to the sound of workman. Once we left the hotel the rest of our honeymoon was lovely

review: Not value for money even at a reduced price. Hotel under refurbishment. Scaffolding over half. Work on Saturdays. Pool out of action. Allocated an old room nothing like web photo. Most things broken in bathroom. Bed cover threadbear. Restaurant decor new food poor.
