review: Maybe it was just the Christmas period, but we were allocated the wrong room, but this was remedied. One of the Menus on display was 8 days old, however the muen fo rthe evenoing meal has no prices on it. The meal when served was not very good, the steak was burnt and although it was replaced it still wasn't very good. The rooms were clean and functional, clearly becoming a tired hotel. The staff were not perticularly helpful. I would no trecommend it.

review: We asked for a non-smoking room, got room reeking of stale tobacco. The en-suite had mould on the ceiling and round the bath, and pipes on toilet and sink were thick with dust. There were moth holes in the curtains and the whole room was furnished badly, was dusty and and very dreary. In fact everything we saw was very dated, dusty and dreary. Couldn't open the secondary glazing to let air in, so if there was a fire outside the door, don't know how we would have got out. One of the worst hotels stayed in. Took a lot of complaining to get any refund of cost of room. Eventually done when Head Office was involved.
