| Rated 3 out of 5: This hotel fits in the 'ok' box for most things. I'm sure it was very nice in the 80's when it was last fitted out but is looking very tired indeed now. We had 2 rooms, the showers in both rooms dripped, cost us a towel for the water to drip on otherwise we'd have gone mad. Reception service was incredibly slow checking in and the staff certainly don't do friendly. For such a big hotel the car park is ridiculously small, roughly 20 cars and 2 coaches worth. We got the rooms for £49 on late rooms so value for money yes, any more and iv have probably felt ripped off. Rated 4 out of 5: This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and found both visits very suitable for my purpose. A perfect base for Wembley and close enough by Tube to visit all of London's attractions, don't dismiss Wembley as a London base, in less than 40 minutes you can travel right across the City from one side to the other. The Tube stations are very close and there are restaurants and shopping adjacent to the Hotel. The staff were excellent and the accommodation is a little dated but apt. Please take a chance instead of paying ridiculous London centre prices. Thanks to all the staff at the Quality and to Late-Rooms. It was a pleasure and I shall return. Rated 4 out of 5: The location adjacent to Wembley arena was perfect. We ordered food in the hotel restaurant for the three of us, and generally it was fine. However, a chicken burger meal for my son was poor. To avoid his embarrassment I did not complain at the time of the meal, but mentioned it as a comment when booking out in the morning. The management apologised and not only refunded the cost of the meal but also offered a complimentary breakfast, which was an excellent piece of customer care. Things do go wrong even in the best hotels, and in this instance it was really nice to see our comments taken notice of and action taken to remedy the situation. We paid £60 for a triple family room which was exceptional value, huge and functional, and perfect for a one night stay near to Wembley. Rated 4.2 out of 5: Excellent location for Wembley. Not the prettiest of hotels but serves it's purpose very well. The surrounding area doesn't look safe and lots of building works. Rated 3.5 out of 5: We were very pleased with the hotel. The location was excellent being so close to the tube station. Staff were very friendly. Room a good size. Overall very happy. A guest rated the stay as 3 out of 5 and wrote: We stayed here as a base for London to see The Lion King. We'd travelled by coach so didn't have the issues of parking but I must agree the car park is pretty small and seems to be open to non residents, our coach certainly had a bit of trouble squeezing in! We were a party consisting of married couple, Grandmother and teenager and had booked 2 rooms, a twin and a double. We were quite disappointed to find that we were on floor 2 and my Mother and daughter were on floor 8, although we were able to call free from the rooms on the telephone. They were nice big rooms if not a bit tired looking, the bed was comfortable and it had all facilities that you would need along with complimentary tea and coffee, shampoo etc. The restaurant was nice, it does get extremely busy around 8.30am though so I would suggest making the effort and getting up to be in for 8. You're given a ticket when you enter for the cooked section. Help yourself to cereal etc, croissants, Danish pastries etc then hand your ticket in to get the eggs and bacon etc. We never tried the bar in the evening but it looked nice although was packed out with rugby players the night we were there! Excellent base for Wembley, concerts, games etc. as it is literally next door. See the view from our room. The view from the side is not so good as it overlooks a carpark. The stadium looks very pretty at night all lit up and I would think that you have a pretty good chance of hearing what's going on!. Nearest tube is Wembley Park, 2 minuutes walk away and then about 25 minutes into London city. It was OK, don't know if I'd definately stay there again unless I was attending something at the stadium - if so, you can't go wrong! |
