| Rated 4 out of 5 : This hotel was clean, had comfortable beds, was clean and fresh in the bathroom and the breakfast included eggs, yoghurt and croissants. All for a reasonable price. There was nothing to complain about. Rated 4 out of 5 : I travelled to London on a trip with one of my friends. We found the hotel to be in a fantastic area we could not have asked for better. It is within walking distance to Hyde Park and many other favourite places. The staff were very pleasant and we had no problems leaving our luggage on our last day until it was time for our flight. We stayed in a twin room which was well equipped and perfectly sized for the two of us. There was no noise in the hotel and it was very well kept. Overall we were more than happy with this hotel and I would be more than happy to return to this hotel on my next trip. Rated 3 out of 5 : We have stayed in Queensway Hotel for three nights during November. It is really close to Paddington and from there you can get anywhere in London by underground, to Heathrow airport or several other England location by rail. Overall, I think it is a good place to stay: clean, comfortable and in a good location. Our room was in the front, just in the first floor. It was not a large room, but it was ok for me, and the bathroom was not as small as other reviews announced (again, it was not large, but I've seen much worse in other hotels in the area). Perhaps there's a difference between rooms. On the other hand, since Sussex Gardens is a very busy street, we heard some noise during the night and mornings. Breakfast was nice, but the ladies that serve it were very rude... The rest of the staff was ok. From what I have seen from other reviews, you might get lucky and have a good service from the staff, but you can't count on it... In terms of value, I think we paid the average price for a double room in the area, a fair value, but we did not book the room in advance and didn't have much time to look around. Overall, I would come back to stay in Queensway if I have to, but in my next trip to London I will probably look around and see if I can find something that seems a better value first. Rated 4.1 out of 5 : At least those at the reception were very good most importantly Theo I don't like the way our breakfast was served and how the staff controlling the guest on where to sit. I guess they need some training as guest don't need to be forced to sit with new faces if he /she decide otherwise. Overall: As have said, I am OK with the hotel - bed is a little small but we are in London. I just hate the breakfast staff directing guest to sit where they don't want - nothing call for this as we have a lot of table free. |
