| Rated 4 out of 5 : But wouldn't want to stay any longer. It is clearly a transit hotel, bur perfectly decent for a short stay. Rated 3 out of 5 : We stayed here because we wanted to get to the airport early in the morning (we were going to Coconut bay St.Lucia), we had already stayed here once before for a similar reason so we knew what to expect. We tried checked in but it took a long time but for us it didn't really matter (staff very unhelpful). We went up to our room and it was clean, bigish and everything we expected. The beds were large and comfy (we had 2 double beds) and the bathroom was clean and the shower worked fine. In the morning we checked out waited for the bus to pick us up and take us to the airport at 5:30am. It took about 15mins (keep in mind it had to go round and pick other people up from other hotels on the way). The bus driver was very kind and helped you with your bags. I don't know if I would stay here again but I did like the hotel Rated 4 out of 5 : We stayed at this hotel as part of a package with car parking or one night before flying from Gatwick early the next morning. The hotel was easy to locate and on arrival we were greeted in a professional and helpful manner. Our room was bright, large and spotless. The bathroom was large and again was very clean with plenty of toiletries. An extra surprise not advertised was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We decided not to eat in the restaurant as this was slightly expensive so elected to drive a couple of miles to the nearest Harvester which was good value. Our early morning call came on time and the directions to Airparks where we parked the car were good. We thought that this was an excellent deal with a night in the Ramada and 15 nights parking. It is something that we will definitely do again. Rated 4.1 out of 5 : Liked: All very good, room service was very efficient and good. Excellent internet facilities and at the value price of £9.99 in this month. all in all very impressive and would have no hesitation in booking again Disliked: Would like to have drinks in the room, more water would have been appreciated. Overall: Very good hotel. Rated 3.5 out of 5 : Got a great deal as far as price was concerned, very nice room - ate in the restaurant which was ok food wise - restaurant staff were very good. The only problem was check in - despite being second in the queue it took 25 mins. A large group were checking in for several rooms which happens but it took far too long for the check in staff (there was only one on duty) to call upon assistance. By the time this happened the queue was around 7-8 deep. The second member of staff admitted straight away that she did not normally work on check in and had trouble operating the system etc. In fact, she eventually passed me over to the first member of staff to complete check in as she could not finish this. There was little by the way of apology for the delay. Otherwise a good stay at an excellent rate when compared to the standard tariff. |
